We’ve used Gold Medal Plumbing twice now and recommended their service to my parents as well. They are all fantastic and extremely helpful. The first time Jordan was able to fix our leaking shower very quickly. The second time we had a weird sewage smell coming from our bathroom and we couldn’t figure out why! I called Gold Medal Plumbing in late 2018 for a leak from our upstairs shower and in 2019 for a problem with our dishwasher. Both times, Jordan came out to do the repairs and he is amazing. I woke up in the night and heard the shower spout pouring with water. I tried to shut it off, but no luck. It wasn't a drip, but a steady pour. On phoning and explaining my situation I was informed that they would have someone there in a 3 hour window and the time of that window. Jordan arrived in that time frame, provided a quote and then on acceptance of the quote got straight to work. We found the service was completed in a timely manner and that Jordan was a pleasure to have around. 1st time using this company. Called them based on online rating. The techs showed up on time as promised and updated me via text on their ETA. Jordan and Julian got the plumbing issue resolved efficiently. I thought they were very professional, polite and HONEST. After the job was completely they got on their knees, cleaned and wiped the entire area clean, which I thought was very thoughtful. I can confirm this definitely is a company worthy of a gold medal! I called yesterday afternoon to see if a plumber could come same day to our home to investigate an issue. The receptionist was amazing, was clear in providing a time window to expect the plumber (same day!). Mr. Rooter never even picked up my call, and other plumbing services I called weren’t clear and seemed disorganized. A half hour before the expected call time, Terrance called me to get more information on the plumbing issue - I personally loved the call in advance, I was able to provide more detail and give him a better idea of what to expect upon arrival. I got a text that he’d arrive within 9 minutes, which was super convenient as a lot of the time you’re sitting there wondering when someone will show up between the given window... or at least I do Terrance arrived and was polite, lovely and incredibly respectful that we had a baby napping! He was so quiet not to wake him, which was so thoughtful! I know that wouldn’t mean much to many but you can tell Terrance cares about people and doing his job well - which makes working with him so lovely. He investigated the issue thoroughly but in a timely manner, provided explanations as to why it couldn’t be a particular issue or another, which was informative/reassuring. He checked everything 2-3 times, pointed out another issue we hadn’t been aware of, and when there was no diagnosis available; he let me know I could call him the next day if it came about again so he could investigate further. He was very thorough and we will definitely be calling him again if it turns out to be an issue. Pricing was upfront and clear, and he was very much not out to nickel and dime us... super honest and forthright - which meant the world.
