We got catering for our Engagement party last week from Goldleaf and it was out of this world. Everything was so easy, we told Ayse what our food preferences were and the spread was way beyond expectations and we didn't have to lift a finger. The food was so fresh and gorgeous! Everyone was asking me where the food was from and loved that it wasn't the traditional sausage rolls and cocktail sausages, but fresh pasta, curry, homemade quiche and more of a healthy option spread with cute little fruit meringues and home made scones! What’s your signature dish?
We have many signature dishes to narrow it down to only one is very difficult so here are a couple of examples. Pan seared king scallops with cauliflower puree risotto, charred cauliflower florets, watercress and truffle oil. Decedent and full of flavour can be a starter or main course. Another signature dish is our Roasted ballotine of Guinea Fowl, confit leg & mushroom tortellini, spatzle and chestnut puree.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We like to get to know our clients, making sure we know exactly what they are after and providing them with a bespoke menu. We can provide a menu tasting if required to ensure complete satisfaction.
What do you love most about your job?
Our job has taken us around the world and several parts of the UK. We love creating new dishes and providing our customers with quality food and a professional service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have been in the industry for nearly 30 years between us. After working in many top restaurants and catering companies both in the UK and abroad as well as running a successful restaurant we thought we would provide customers with quality outside catering.
