Transcription is transcription. There are a million companies around who can do it. GMR gets 5 Stars because of service! Fast. Friendly. Reliable. I had an issue with the file type I needed transcribed and every time I called GMR, I got a live person who was ready and happy to help. The issue was quickly resolved and the transcript was in my hands faster than I expected. As a lawyer, I don't have the time or the energy to worry about whether a thing will be done right the first time...that was not a worry with GMR. I tried them once and they have earned my business. Really love the customer service that GMR provides. It is fast, consistent, patient, and friendly every time. I got help navigating to the site and file format help shortly after an email question I submitted. Wish more companies did their customer service like this. The transcription was done exactly on time and was quite well done with the exception of a few inaudible words towards the end when a speaker with a thick accent spoke. I have used GMR a few times, and in general I am happy with their services. The work is ready when they say it would be, and the customer service is excellent. I always get responses to my questions in a timely fashion. If there is one thing that is not perfect, it's the quality of the transcription. I was looking for transcription services provider that could transcribe my college lecture recordings.  I needed my lecture recordings transcribed promptly and a friend recommended me to GMR. My professor has a very heavy accent and I thought it would be difficult for them to transcribe it for me. Transcripts done by GMR are always accurate and the turnarond time is always done right by my deadline. The only small gripe I had was the $10 registration fee, but then they refunded it after I paid for my first transcript. I have been a typist with GMR Transcription for more than six years. I have always had a wonderful, professional working relationship with staff over that time and have really enjoyed working with them. One of the main things I really love about working with GMR Transcription is the personal feel you get when dealing with the staff. No question is a silly one and they are always available and more than happy to help. Emails are answered quickly and staff is always available through IM. When it comes to invoicing and payment, they have always paid on time. By far the best transcription service out there! GMR is a trusted resource when I need my transcripts done in a timely manner. Also, I have used them for English to Spanish translation services with a one day turnaround, and all I can say is I was NOT let down. It was just the way I wanted it in the format I requested. The service is outstanding, and I would highly recommend to anyone! The only slight downside is they are a bit pricier than their competitors, but I don't mind because of the quality.
