My husband and I got married this year and we were lucky enough to have a Magic Mirror at our wedding provided by G&M Events. Rather than having a typical photo booth, the mirror was such an amazing and unique way to capture the moments from the night, and it went down an absolute storm! There were CONSTANTLY guests using the mirror to take photos (which were printed out straight away and also uploaded to social media) and there were so many funny props included as well! The team were fantastic both leading up to the wedding, and on the night itself - great communication and service throughout the whole process. What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
We feel that the Magic Mirror can never replace the traditional photographer but brings a great dimension to capturing funny moments between friends, family or work colleagues, in a way that Photographers arent in the same position to do. With props a plenty and silly animations to get you in the mood, the Magic Mirror is a great way of adding that special something to your event.
What photo booth props do you offer?
Everything but the kitchen sink (we'll put it on the list...!)
Al the usual - inflatables, cowboy hats, wigs, scarves, boas etc and the more recognisable props on sticks usually tailored for your individual event.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A relaxed subject - and what better way than seeing yourself in a wig misbehaving with your friends in a full-length mirror!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We like to know all about the event so we can tailor what the service we provide
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing EVERYONE no matter what age or what background, really let themselves go in front of the mirror (sometimes forgetting that others are watching) it really makes for a great picture!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We attended a wedding where there was a Magic Mirror and we were obsessed with it - not just taking the photos but the way everyone was so intrigued by it and having such a giggle with their friends. We wanted to share that with others.
