My mom and sister have been getting their lashes done here since they've opened and they swear by them. My sister recently told me that they do facials here and sent me some before and afters on Instagram so I decided to try it out. I got the hydrafacial and dermaplaning before my birthday and I got so many compliments all night. So much stuff came out of my face and it was cool that she showed me the liquid after. I've gotten 3 chemical peels here before, and have seen tremendous change in my skin that I have never even see with a dermatologist before (attached picture below). Since it's winter I decided on getting the hydrafacial since my skin was very dry and they had cool add on's such as peel off masks, and different serums for the hydrafacial. I added on dermaplaning because Maria said it would help all the product seep into my skin better. For those of you who don't know because I didn't either dermaplaning is where you remove the dead skin and peach fuzz off. My skin feels so hydrated! I absolutely love this place!! I get my lashes done by Mel and I highly recommend her. She is so professional and gentle. When I have questions about upkeep of my lashes she is always available to help me via text which is so kind of her . I have to take a moment to show some love to Glow Beauty Bar. This place is awesome! They provide so many services in this one location and it's close to home! Maria has been doing my facials since I started going and I've seen such a huge difference in my face (texture, smoother, cleaner). She didnt have to pick and prod my face with needles like others used to do to my face. I have suffered with acne/scars for many years now and as I got older, I went to many different spas to get facials and I didn't really see a difference. When I found this place, I thought let me give facials one more try and I'm super happy I did. I will never stop going because Maria has done an amazing job with making sure I use the right products and treatments for my face. If the facials are bomb, I could just imagine how great the other services are (lash application, makeup, wax etc). I would recommend this place to all my friends and family for sure! My husband even liked it so much he made a future appointment for a hydra facial! We have been to many places and the reason why it stands out is they take there time to give you exactly what you want not what they feel like doing. Facial with Maria have improved the overall health of her skin shine and glow. I also suffered from acne and Maria took the time to help me and get me products needed to cure and clear it up . Glow Beauty Bar is second to none! The salon is clean, stylish, and comfortable. The girls who work there are so sweet, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. I've had my makeup done by both Maria and Carly and every time they make me feel more beautiful than ever before. They take their time and do an amazing job. Glow is literally my go-to for all things beauty! Living in North Jersey and working in the city I have very high standards since I was surrounded by amazing artists. Moving to Central Jersey I was concerned that I wouldn't get the same level of expertise. I was wrong! Glow was the best gem I found. I don't know where to start. The place is adorable and the staff is the sweetest. I feel so comfortable with them and end up chatting with the ladies for hours about life. Ashley does amazing lashes and all the eyelash techs are so talented! My lashes last weeks and I get a ton of compliments. Plus the prices are great and they have a lot of incentives. Maria who is the owner is a sweetheart and is so accommodating. I can text her anytime and she will answer if I need to move an appointment. She does my facials and has been working on my skin for the last few months and it has been PHENOMENAL. I have taken pills, used topicals, you name it and nothing has worked for me. I work in the city and have a high stressed job so I am prone to breakouts. The regiment Maria has put me on is the best and I feel comfortable with her. Not only do they do amazing lashes and specialize in skin care you can get your makeup done. I am super picky but they make you look natural and a better version of yourself. Made an appointment over the phone which was easy breezy. They will ask for your credit card info and charge you for half of the service prior to you coming in. You'll pay the other half when you go in. Had my lashes done by Christina. I got the classic set and she did a great job. Had my contacts in during the application and had no problems with that. I even mentioned to her that in the past my eyes usually get red and irritated after getting lashes but this time I felt nothing. I didn't even need a fan blowing in my eye. It was great. If I could rate this 10 starts instead of 5- I absolutely would! For starters, this is the only " beauty bar " around me that I know of which is already just such a great idea for a business in a world full of girls that want to look their best! The fact that Island sun and glow are right next to each other make it so easy and convenient to go from tanning to lashes to makeup and basically anything else beauty related. Besides the convenience, the staff is incredible! Maria ( the owner ) is the cutest, sweetest most helpful boss out there. She is so motivated and constantly looking to help customers achieve the look they are going for.Her hard work absolutely shows and her kind attitude is greatly appreciated.Mel is who I go to, to get my lashes done and ever since she started with doing my lashes- I haven't been the same since. She is such a hard worker and really knows what she is doing. One of the best if not the best out there! Her kind attitude makes me want to keep coming back to her. this salon is sooooo gorgeous. i came here for eyelash extensions. All of the girls in the salon are so sweet and friendly, especially maria herself. I dont know her personally but i follow her on instagram, in person she is one of those real life GORGEOUS sweet girls. Loved being able to support her and her business. I visited Glow to have my first full set of eyelashes applied. The salon is absolutely gorgeous. I was greeted by the super friendly Glow staff. The salon offers eyelash services, threading, makeup and waxing. Ashely applied my lashes and she did such an awesome job. I got #lashedbyAsh !!! She made sure I was comfortable throughout the application process which took approximately 1.5 hours. The lashes felt comfortable on my eyes and were not bothersome at all! These will last me about 2-3 weeks. (Check out my photos) Depending on which type of lashes you select they can range in price. Mine were $80 which I feel is fair especially because eye lash extensions can go up to $350 depending where you go. I went to Glow Saturday for a makeup application with Carly and I loved it! The atmosphere was really cute I loved all the decor and everyone was super friendly. My make up came out awesome! One of my favorite looks yet. Maria has done my make up on location in the past, so I knew she was awesome, but I was pleasantly surprised that her team was very talented as well.
