I gave David a call after my laptop hard drive failed. After successfully diagnosing the problem, he recommended that we move to an SSD hard drive as we would benefit from the increased speed as we do a lot of video editing in our business. I have to say that David was clear throughout the whole process, and his service was simply outstanding! David even went to the trouble of picking up the laptop and dropping it off so that the repairs could be done promptly.The speed of the laptop is fantastic - it is like going from a Mini to a Ferrari! The best bit is that everything was in exactly the same place as before, even after changing to a different hard drive.If you are looking for somebody who is reliable and knows everything about IT - then give Gloucester Computer Services a call! Cobalt health was having issues with connecting to WiFi. Patients and visitors were not always able to connect to our WiFi when attending Courses and appointments, as connections were very slow and intermittent. Gloucester Computer Services recommended a number of ways to resolve these issues. They were very informative and helpful providing suggestions and ideas which were explained with great understanding and simplicity. This gave me the confidence to deploy the Cisco Meraki solution after they had organised a trial of the equipment prior to purchase. . We now have Cisco Meraki Wireless Solution in place with secure guest access. So going forward we have no issues with our WiFi. I have also gone on to use Gloucester Computer Services as Cobalt Health’s preferred supplier going forward. I use a personal lap top and I called GCS after I accidentally dropped it and smashed the screen. The service was excellent and the replacement screen was ordered and fitted within a few days, I was kept fully updated and the service was friendly and professional. The cost was more than reasonable also. I cannot recommend GCS highly enough and I will definitely use them again in the future should I have any problems. More...

I am part of a school network, hence everything is on my laptop. It is my life! During the Summer holidays my laptop failed and I contacted Dave, who allowed me to have my laptop dropped off at his house and texted me as soon as it was repaired. He didn't have to, it was the holidays. On returning to school I had settled down on a Wednesday evening to catch up with all outstanding work. Only to find a dreaded white screen. Initially Dave said it could take until Monday to fix it, then on Friday he appeared with a refurbished School laptop with all my documents securely backed up. We are a medium sized company in Tewkesbury and have been using Gloucester Computer Sevices for a number of years and in that time we have had to call them out to 'save our lives' many times and we are pleased to say they have never failed us. The problem is often resolved on site immediately or the offending computer is taken away and is often fixed within a day. To conclude we would could not recommend GPS highly enough. More...

My hard disk failed and I could not access my coursework. David managed to locate all my files and backed them up for me. He also repaired my system and has me back up and running, phew!

“I can give nothing but positive comments about the Meraki wireless solution Gloucester Computer Services installed in our school. The system we had in place before was less than a year old but gave us nothing but problems. Laptops work well and having iPads in school means that we rely on wireless quite a bit and the previous Netgear system kept dropping out and losing connectivity, meaning not only Apps but Apple TV didn't work. Staff just gave up trying to integrate iPads into lessons as they were too unreliable. Since you installed the Meraki system, we have had no connection problems, even Apple TV works effectively and the iPads are being fought over for use! Although we have fewer access points, the wireless now covers all of the school, even areas that wireless didn't reach before. It's amazing what a difference it has made. Although I have logged into our Meraki account from time to time, it has not been because of any issues arising.
