If you have any makeup needs or want to just look better than you ever thought you could, go see Lyndsey. She is absolutely great! I made an appointment with her to get my makeup done for engagement photos after my original makeup person I found on Yelp canceled on me the week before. I don't remember how I found Lyndsey during my last minute scramble to find a replacement, but I'm so glad I found her (things really do happen for a reason!)As a makeup artist, Lyndsey is very open to what you would like your makeup to look like. She takes into account your reason for getting makeup done, your outfit colors, your favorite colors and just how you wear your makeup everyday. She definitely knows how to highlight your facial features and cover up the blemishes so that you have a flawless and gorgeous looking face. Her salon is cute, chic and very inviting. You can even get your hair done there as well (which I didn't plan to but ultimately did too). I can't rave enough about this place! So much talent! Carmen from Glossa is great. Very professional and also was a friendly, calming presence on our wedding day. Her makeup is tailored to each bridesmaid, bride, mother, etc. She really pays attention to detail... and is very affirming in the process. I would recommend Carmen from Glossa to anyone. She was referred to me by my now sister-in-law who also had an amazing experience. Simply put, Glossa is amazing! Lyndsey and Carmen did makeup for the moms, bridesmaids and myself. Everyone looked and felt beautiful! Glossa Professional Makeup Artistry did my wedding day make-up and it was absolutely beautiful. About 25 days before my wedding I decided that I had to get my make-up done for the wedding and I email them and Lyndsey (the company owner) ended up being my make-up artist and she was amazing! !! I don’t wear a lot of make-up and wanted a more natural look that highlighted my eyes and she did exactly that! It was stunning but I still looked like me on the day of the wedding! I was an out of town bride and she was very flexible in fitting in a time to do a trail two days before the wedding to ensure that I had the look that I wanted! Lyndsey is the best! From the very first moment I met her, we totally clicked. She is so easy to talk to! So warm and funny! I did my trial with her the same day I took our engagement pictures, killing two birds with one stone, as they say - which was great on our wedding budget. She was always quick to reply to my emails and even offered me some suggestions on what colors/products work best with my complexion and skin tone! Lyndsey was amazing!! Had my makeup done at 2pm for my 6pm outdoor ceremony....it was 93 degrees outside!! After sweating through the ceremony and the pictures I proceeded to the indoor reception where I danced the night away. My makeup was still wonderful at 1am in the morning! I hadn't planned on having my makeup done for my wedding, but I found a brochure for Glossa a couple months before our big day. The price for the service looked great, so I decided to go for it. It was definitely the best decision I could have made! My skin is difficult to deal with and I didn't want any makeup problems on my wedding day. Lyndsey was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and knew just how to make my makeup stay put the whole night!

I never planned on having someone do my makeup for my wedding. Makeup has been a hobby of mine; I have actually done makeup for brides that were friends of mine in the past on multiple occasions. When it came time for my big day, I decided to let myself be pampered and hired Lyndsey from Glossa to do my makeup.

I never would have guessed how extremely happy I'd be with the results. Lyndsey was very professional and it was obvious that she knew exactly what she was doing. I was able to give her an idea of what I wanted, and she knew exactly how to make it happen.

I love love love Lyndsey from Glossa. She made my wedding day makeup experience a complete dream. She was completely professional from day one. She and her assistant on the day of the wedding did makeup for myself, my mom, my GMA, and all of my BMs. Efficient and talented is the name of their game.

I cannot say enough about Lyndsey with Glossa. She was so professional and she almost became like a "friend" at the end of the process. I met with her about a month before the wedding and she was so great! We clicked and I just loved what she did. She really listens to what kind of "look" you are going for and is very flexible. The wedding day she drove 45 min. out of the way to come to Oxford at 6 am to do my make-up the day of! I was actually sick that morning and she was so sweet and so kind. She did her best to keep my mind off of the jitters and butterflies and my make-up was WONDERFUL. I still looked like me, but just the best version! :) She also did my mom and sister's make-up on the wedding day and they were so happy. They never looked more beautiful.
