“Glebe House Dowth is a hidden gem” was the text we received from our guests on repeat the day after our wedding in June 2019. From the first time we checked the place out and met Elizabeth we knew it was the place for us. The setting is out of this world with endless amounts of photo opportunities from the cottage, to the rose gardens and lavender trail. It really has to be seen to be believed. We had our ceremony inside due to the bad weather in the week leading up the wedding but it made it all the more intimate. Our guests could hear and see every emotion. The sun came out on the day of our wedding so everyone was outside in the courtyards enjoying Prosecco and tea and coffee. The reception room was better than we could’ve wished for and I’ve never heard so many people comment on how good the food tasted and how big the portions were. It really was a dream day and all down to Elizabeth, Sinead and all the staff in Glebe House Dowth. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. More...

I got married here in 2015. I couldn’t recommend it more. It’s such a beautiful venue, a gorgeous house with a restored barn which makes a beautiful ceremony and reception room.
