What do you love most about your job?
I am really passionate about people, I love to understand why they do what they do. Diversity is very important to me, I have worked with people from many different cultures, ages, backgrounds and I always keen to learn something new from them.
I am also very passionate about supply chain. There is a real need for talent in supply chain especially with the forever changing customer and corporate demand, but it is not a profession many people choose - in fact most people i have met ended up in a supply chain role randomly then fell in love with it and stayed. I am keen to be an advocate of this fascinating profession so feel free to get in touch if you wanna learn more.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Throughout my corporate career I have spent hundreds of hours in meeting rooms, workshops, store and warehouse visits with suppliers and retailers in attendance, pretty much talking about the same few things: primarily why do you have too much or too little of anything in a shop and how that could be improved. Supply chain and logistics are thought to be the same but they are 2 very different skillsets, one being the "Hardware" and the other the "Software" of the end to end supply. Regardless the continent/country I was in and whether the discussion was between two megacorporations or small businesses, the content was pretty much the same...there is definitely a pattern there. I wanted to share my experience and the knowledge I have gained in CE and Asia hence set up GLC Group to be my channel for this.

I am very open minded and always interested in meeting new people and to learn their stories, hear what their goal is or if they havent got one maybe help shape it with them.
