DJ Glass was exceptional! He came to our rescue just 7 days before the wedding after our original DJ cancelled via email (he took a job offer in Dubai). He was overly prepared and even made certain that the pianist and the MC had wireless microphones; he included all the uplighting; and was a very fun DJ. He knows his stuff he was very professional not always easy to reach as I guess he’s a DJ and very busy. He was what I expected and more. Couldn’t ask for a better DJ. Don’t let the last-minute response texts throw you off. He’s worth it and he delivers. Derrick was simply amazing! He was such a pleasure to work with and very easy to communicate with both via email and text/call. Extremely down to earth and provided such great entertainment for our guests the entire night! With my husband being Panamanian, he was able to seamlessly fuse our two cultures together through music. We provided him with our specific playlist for particular points in time throughout the evening (intros, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting, etc.) , as well as artists that my husband and I both enjoyed...and he most definitely made it happen! Our guests have even asked for a copy of the playlist of songs he mixed throughout the reception! Derrick was also able to provide a beautiful GOBO for our reception space, uplighting, and a screen/projector for a photo slideshow to be displayed as our guests ate and danced the night away. Lastly, Derrick recommended a wonderful florist (Becky Shehan, owner of A Very Special Wedding) who went above and beyond with our ceremony and reception décor! The first time I met Mr. Anderson his wife had just had a baby. However, he still took the time to schedule a consultation with me immediately as I wanted to make a decision on my dj as soon as possible. He did not just give me a compilation of his songs, but he actually mixed some music for me on the spot so that I could hear how it would sound on my wedding day. I wanted blue uplighting, so he also set up the uplights and showed me how they would look at the meeting.
I sent him a list of songs that I wanted for my wedding and all of the music I requested was played. He arrived early and played the music for the prelude as well as the ceremony and reception music, all for a flat fee. Anytime I had a question about his services, he provided a prompt, friendly response and was happy to help ease my mind about his services. Overall, I think this is one of the most professional people I have worked with, who understands how stressful planning a wedding can be, and will work with you in a respectful way to make sure that everyone involved is happy. WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL, FUN & TALENTED!! WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED I can not say enough about having Glass Dee Entertainment at my wedding. The entire experience was so much fun! I had my wedding in Savannah,GA and he traveled to me from Atlanta to make the experience wonderful.

I know what some of the people reading may be say, sometimes it hard to separate the wedding day "high" with the vendors performance that help make your day special but this is truly a awesome DJ.

Throughout my interaction with Glass Dee he made sure that experience was stress free - ensured me quality of service and recommended when I should be sending playlist, ect... He always responded to my questions and e-mail in a timely manner. Often time when you're planning a destination wedding having someone respond to you quickly and answer ALL your question (some not even music related) is a PLUS!

As for his performance: A++++ . I had told Glass Dee the age range of the guest (both the groom and I were older and so was our guest) sprinkle with our ethnic background (wanted songs to reflect both) and add to that the requirement to have everyone dancing and HE DELIVERED!! I must say I was somewhat SHOCK on how was able to have everyone dancing and gauge on the spot if he needed to switch the song or play similar beats and having the transition flow without a skip. Glass Dee is simply the best! He was professional from the very first conversation, and we knew that we were in good hands. The music at the wedding was perfect! By the time the dance music started, people were running to the dance floor ready to get the party started! If the venue was cooler (it was a 100 degrees in July), we probably would have had to kick people out :-) The most important thing for our wedding was for everyone to be enveloped by the atmosphere of love, enjoy themselves, and PARTY!
