My beautiful dog Matilda had become very nervous when visiting the groomers. Saw Penny today for the first time and am so happy with the experience. Matilda was so much more relaxed although still nervous at times. Gradually she began trusting Penny more and more and kept giving her nice slobbery kisses . We have been taking our toy poodle Ozzy to Penny for a couple of years now. Having used other groomers in the past, he previously hated the experience and wriggled so much that it was difficult to cut his hair. However, by using a different approach and removing the major causes of anxiety from the process, Penny has managed to take the stress out of the experience for Ozzy and always gives him an excellent cut. We are so pleased that we found her, after struggling to find a groomer that was able to deal with the same issues in the past. I cannot recommend her enough! More...

We took Bonnie for her first visit yesterday, it was a great experience and Penny is a lovely person. We worried we wouldn't find somewhere like Give the dog a comb after our last groomer retired but I'm glad to say it was brilliant. Thank you and see you soon

I took my little Greek Kokoni to Penny as he was in desperate need of a “wash, cut and blow dry.”He is a recent rescue so is still getting used to new people, places and noises. To say Penny was brilliant with him is a complete understatement as she had to coax, cajole and persevere especially when he came to the drying part. He had lots of straggly hair on his chest, ears, back, undercarriage, feathers and tail and under Penny’s expert eye he emerged totally transformed into an even more gorgeous dapper little dog who is basking under the compliments he now gets every time I take him out. Went today with a dog that was matted and resembled a door mat, and came back an hour later with a pretty and happy pooch and actually enjoyed the experience. Was apprehensive to start with, but left delighted and will most certainly return. I stayed whilst she did it which calmed the dog down, but she clearly loves dogs and really cares despite all the mess and poops the Milly (the dog) did! If in doubt, trust your judgement and go for it. I did and don't regret it! Well done - finally found someone that I can trust with my fluffy friend. More...
