Ordered the calamari and Ravioli Andrew. Both were delicious! The atmosphere is very homey, if not a bit crowded. The wait staff were attentive but not very friendly to us, though I did notice them talk a lot with other customers who must have been regulars. Food was delicious, however the half portion for nearly $9 was smaller than the child's portion at nearly $5 which also came with a drink. For $2 more, definitely worth the full portion price which also comes with soup or salad and another meatball or sausage. Also it was quite a while between ordering and being served, at least 20 minutes. Luckily there was tons of clean white paper on the table to play hang man and tic tac toe on with a borrowed pen. I love Giuseppe's. I have been going here for years. The price point is honest and family friendly. I love the home made gnocchi with vodka sauce ( I usually get mine with extra meatballs) My new favorite dish is their Ravioli Andrew. My wife and I eat at Giuseppe's at least 2 to 3 time a week. There food is the finest, priced right and the service is awesome! ! The meatballs are THE BEST in town. Moral of the story, they stand by their service, their food is fantastic, fresh, always hot, and reasonably priced for what you get. I highly reccomened this place, and if you like pasta, it's a must try. I myself love the baked gnocchi. I have been enjoying Giuseppe’s for over 10 years now. Started out stopping for lunch and after many great visits decided to bring my wife for dinner. Over the years we’ve brought friends and family there, everybody loves it. Has the feel of a small family diner, but good size place and very nicely appointed. The food is the best Italian food in Rochester, very inexpensive, and the entire staff is friendly and courteous. What more could you ask for? So you probably won't notice this restaurant driving by because it's tucked in a corner of a huge kind-of-boring plaza, next to a planet fitness.
