My team and I ordered 30 pizzas after a practice when there was a special deal. The staff were very cooperative with the sudden large order, and my team and I enjoyed our delicious pizzas!

I agree with Preston F. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing, and the portions are great. However, what is really preventing me from giving this restaurant five stars is the name. If this restaurant was more considerate of their customers and changed the name to Glove's so it was easier to pronounce, it would be a slam dunk 5 stars from me. My ex-wife used to insist on me calling it Giove's and I think that is the main reason we got divorced. So save families and be Glove's! I miss you Karen. More...

This place is fantastic and has great service, however, there is one thing that could be changed to further improve the business. Have you guys considered changing the name to "Glove's Pizza Kitchen"? An American like myself struggles with the pronunciation of "Giove's" and when you consider the frequency of a customer like myself, I think it makes sense that customer's opinions matter. I used Giove's in Shelton for my daughter's graduation party to supplement other food I was having. We decided on meatballs, sausage and peppers (not in red sauce), and a 3 foot Italian combo sandwich.  We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality, or the service we received. The meatballs, and the sausage and peppers, we're delicious, piping hot at delivery, and enjoyed by all. Bonus- I didn't expect the tray of bread sticks, but they were more than welcome. But I was most happy with the sandwich. It was fresh, and tasty. It was presented really well in that it was precut, and wrapped so that I could remove the plastic wrap as needed to stay nice throughout the party.  Delivery was a huge benefit with all that had to be done that day. Not sure Why Giove's isn't getting a lot of love in their reviews.  I've ordered from them for years in Trumbull and never had any issues with any of my orders.  Ok, so their 'large' pizza is probably more like an 'extra medium'.  But staff is always friendly and they do a pretty brisk business.  Their grinders are underrated, especially their meatball.  I recommend getting any grinder toasted. Yeah I am going against the crowd on this one and rating them a 4. More like a 4.5 actually. Here's why:Great for deliveryHave NEVER messed up my order once. I have tasted it (I do not eat much spaghetti in general) and it's good.Also good are their calzones. They will pack the calories on though so order in moderation if you want to keep your cholesteral down..lol....they are huge.They also have DOCTOR PEPPER! No place has Doctor Pepper around here. That's worth a star in itself.I don't get their pizza that much so cannot speak to how the Pies are but I have had slices  a few times. They do offer slices which is really cool. I've occasionally had one and they were not bad at all, in fact pretty tasty in my opinion. I can think of much worse in the area, Crown pizza being one of them.They also make a mean lean meatball grinder. They have yummy garlic bread. Far better than the Trumbull location. The food is more consistent as are the portions, the menu is well balanced  for both locations I will take the longer route to this location more "Bang for the Buck" .

Good food and even better customer service.As a Marching Band family its tough to get dinner to them at 4:30pm esp on weeknights.  My son loves the Chicken Parm Wedge so I decided to order online for take-out and realized there wasn't a field to enter the pick up time.  The special instructions section wasn't large enough to enter bagging instructions for my son's food & his friend and include the pick-up time too.  I called and they took care of it in seconds!  My life just got easier!Also wanted to note, we used Giove's regularly several years ago for this same reason.  They always were very accomodating, made sure the food arrived on time and never had any issues except when the delivery person wasn't wearing any Giove's Logo-ed clothing. I had Giove's while visiting CT. Giove's has the best vegetarian pizza I have ever had. As a non meat eater, I get frustrated with pizza shops that simply throw some mushrooms, peppers and onions on a pizza then call it good. Giove's doesn't fall into this trap of laziness. Instead, it includes broccoli, eggplant and other vegetables! Not only was there a large variety of vegetables, but they were very flavorful as well. I was incredibly impressed. My family also had a sausage and Florentine pizza and enjoyed both just the same. I honestly do not understand how Giove's could have less than 4 stars. Perhaps, it's lack of consistency? I will update my score next week. Until then, I look forward to ordering the vegetable pizza again! More...

AMAZING! Not five stars but ten!!! I ordered a grilled veggie salad and my husband ordered the same but with grilled chicken. First off the staff is SO nice. Anna is very sweet and just a nice person, she seems like she likes her job. The restaurant itself is very cute. Easy to get to with plenty of parking.  GIOVE'S HANDS DOWN HAS THE BEST DINNER SALAD IN TOWN! It was HUGE. Not only was it huge but the amount of grilled veggies was endless, and man did they have a great flavor! Included in dinner was a side of bread, which was so fresh and flavorful. The amount of chicken on my husband's salad was huge. It was grilled to perfection. Everything about our dinner was fabulous. The menu is a lot more than I thought it was. My husband also had one slice of plain cheese. It's clear they use the good mozz, fresh crust and yummy sauce. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE REGULARS HERE! I’m not really a wrap person but I tried a chicken wrap from this place and I was like omg YUMM. Surprisingly good and the wings are honestly some of the best wings I’ve had, crispy and just the perfect amount of heat and spice and I LOOOOOVE SPICE
