Gina Conway should be the only place to get your hair done! After weeks of searching for the perfect hairdresser close to home I found Vicente at Gina Conway. Vicente was so warm and friendly. Gave great advice and took his time listening to what i would like and then discussing what would best suit me and what he thought he could achieve. I have been given compliments all day on my hair and many are now keen to book appointments with Vicente. The salon staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming and the salon is beautiful. The complimentary back, neck and head massage at the beginning of the appointment was to die for and the assistant who washed and conditioned my hair ended it with another great head massage. She took her time and didn't rush through it which is sometimes the case. Vicente and other staff who worked on my hair made to sure to let me know what they were doing and how long it would take throughout my appointment. im a flight attendant for a major airline; had a layover in London; fortunate enough to have my hair done at Gina Conways Salon -- awesome experience! !! Was welcomed by Jasmine, she offered tea and a warm place to sit... (i arrived a bit early) then neck and shoulder massage (ahhhhh ) followed by hair washing and excellent head massage...then the caveat! my hair cut and styled by Elanor !!! beautiful !!i look at a hair stylist from the perspective of what i can do with my hair without the stylist…in other word the cut…Elenor is amazing!!my hair is so easy …looks great …even when i wash it and NOT blow dry…after flying for 12 to 16 hours having great hair is a plus!!thank you : ) More...

This is Felice — Melanie is an amazing colorist and helped advise me with transitioning my hair color back to its natural (gray) color. She was direct and forward thinking which is just what I needed. And Judy did a fantastic job with the cut, adding layers where needed and keeping the length as much as possible to give me a really wonderful style. I only wish I could come here regularly! Overall a lovely local salon, great services on offer and consistently friendly therapists and hair stylists. The only downside are the receptionists, some are very welcoming and others appear quite hostile.

I had a haircut with Louise a week ago now and was very apprehensive because I haven’t had the best experiences with haircuts in the last year, and I can safely say I loved the entire experience. Lousie spent some time trying to understand exactly what I wanted and then she did exactly that. She wasn’t rushed and she took her time with my hair which I appreciated greatly. The experience of having a cut at an Aveda salon was great too, and the complimentary head and shoulder massage before the wash was such a luxurious touch. I will definitely be going back! More...

I could not recommend this salon more! An experience like no other. I had a mid-morning appointment booked on a Saturday and despite this the salon was utterly calm and didn’t feel overly busy. I had my hair colour done by Paul. He spent a whole 25 minutes listening to what I wanted, happy to be as creative and flexible as needed. In short, I absolutely adore my hair. Paul didn’t have to use any bleach to achieve the ‘sunkissed lift’ I wanted and managed to fix the awful over-bleaching nightmare I’d suffered at another salon in the process. I had a gift voucher for the Rejuvenation Package to use here, a 2.5 hour pamper session including a facial, massage and either a manicure or pedicure. My beautician was Amber who is lovely and made me feel very comfortable. The back massage was about half an hour and was just to my taste (firm) and definitely helped release tension in my shoulders. This was followed by the manicure to give time for my nails to dry before I left. I opted for red and am very happy with the results.The facial was last but Amber was very thorough. She did an extraction of my blackheads and my face felt truly cleansed afterwards.All in all, a great experience and pamper session. It was about 2 hours 10 in total but totally worth it for £160.Would highly recommend this package and will very likely come back. More...

Very responsive and friendly salon. I've just had the one appointment but was really pleased with their service. I made the appointment at short notice on their easy, online booking system. The attention was great. To start with Eleonor actually listened to what I wanted and saw my hair and it’s quality when dry. We discussed the haircut and the work plan. They shampood my hair in a very calm and relaxing space. The cut was brilliant, exactly what I wanted. Eleonor was calm and gentle and she talked me through the process. I've been going to Gina Conway (Westbourne Grove) for a couple of years and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else out of choice. The service has always been excellent, I love having the shoulder massage, getting my hair washed and then cut - the whole experience is rather relaxing.

I used to see the same hairdresser, Stephen (Irish guy) most of the time but he's left now, and I have seen Micheal once and he's exceptional.

The hairdressers also give good advice on which Aveda products to use and I've bought the recommended dry remedy and damage remedy lines and rate them highly.
