A little bit of research

Researching local history for a small book on St George's Church Barrow-the first church in Barrow-in-Furness. Using some of the research to back up my new story in the Out of Time series-as one of Barrow' founding fathers makes a cameo appearance.

New projects in the pipeline

We are working on new projects for pupils in Year 5 and 6 -delivering after school projects on reading and creative writing and raising standards

Third Out of Time book on the way

The third book in the Out of Time series is being completed. The Cistercian Conspiracy again introduces new characters from history; one of whom played a significant role in Victorian Barrow-can you guess who that might be?

Patron of Reading

Patron of Reading with three local schools-to encourage and promote reading and the enjoyment of books. Broughton CE Primary, Dalton St Mary Primary and Lindal and Marton Primary School.

Buzzing about Reading

Great project about books, reading and writing with real authors and children in the Furness area. 2015
