Based on my personal experience, I consider Gil as a knowledgeable and responsible trainer who exercises highly professional and individual approach with his clients. I like that he is strongly committed to what he is doing. I am also noticing that he constantly improves his expertise. For example, recently we switched from workouts with just weights to more sophisticated training that includes posture correction and a lot of stretching which makes sense to me. Gil is beyond spectacular. His passion for fitness and health completely changed my life. I started working out with Gil about 5 months ago. He created a basic workout program for me, and taught me patiently how to exercise properly for maximum gains. Gil is attentive to details, extremely patient and very knowledgeable in Kinesiology. We worked together executing 3 different training programs. A basic program in which he helped me to "get used to exercising" slowly. An intermediate program - he skillfully fixed my posture and small "mistakes" that could have led to injuries. And, an Advanced program - after all the corrections we really focused on exercising wisely and heavily for maximum gains. Gil has always been prompt to respond to EVERY question via text, audio and facetime. He clearly demonstrated interest in accompanying my workout even after our sessions were done. My sessions were followed by video demonstrating correct executions in case I was making a mistake. A diet plan to follow. And audios providing rich information regarding Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition. I couldn't be more grateful to all this exceptional help and guidance I was given by a top trainer. Gil is the real deal. He is always striving to keep things fresh and relevant for my fitness goals and he does the homework to be prepared. He always checks in with me to see how what other fitness activities I've done during the week so we are hitting everything. His wealth of education from his degree in fitness and his attention to detail make him a stand-out in his industry. Since Gil has worked with me, my body and endurance have changed significantly. People notice and I simply tell them "Body by Gil"! I have never been a great fan of working out but do it because it makes me feel and look good (besides the obvious health benefits) and now I actually look forward to my workouts because Gil makes them fun and interesting, always switching it up so our workouts remain challenging and never boring and I am always amazed how quickly the hour passes. When I feel tired or have an off day he somehow manages to energize me and I leave the gym invigorated and in a good mood.. must be either his good energy and/or very high skill level. I could not recommend Gil more highly..a few sessions with him will show you what I am talking about. More...

In a sea of trainers in Los Angeles, Gil is one of the most thoughtful, attentive, and mindful trainers I have met in my many years of living and training here. Every client is special to him and he is tireless in agonizing over how to make each one of them excel in their training process. For Gil it is personal and it shows in that all of those he trains say the nicest of things about his character but also many times dread what he has in store for them. :) He treats those he works with much like extended family and he is one of those people who you are glad you know. Gil brings honest and good energy to the table in a motivating way and has the background and experience to back it up with the results you are looking to gain. GIL IS SIMPLY THE BEST TRAINER!!  I have never been one to go to the gym and workout and thought it would be helpful to have some motivation to get back in shape and lose a few pounds.  I reach out to Gil and he responded quickly and met with me within 24 hours.  During our meeting, he was understanding of my needs and learned the best way to motivate me in my journey.  I could not be happier. Gil is a wonderfully caring and conscientious personal trainer.  i've been training with him 3 times a week for eight months now.  if i had the time, i would train with him every day, that's how great i feel after a session.  Gil knows exactly how hard to push you to do your best work but he is always checking to make sure it feels right.  his extensive knowledge of how the body works is tremendously useful.  i have made huge strides since our work together began thanks to Gil.  in addition to his attentiveness and obvious caring, he is always available by text, always checking in to make sure you feel good after a workout, etc.  In short, Gil is exactly what a personal trainer should be -- inspirational -- and i recommend him with the greatest enthusiasm. I've worked with a few personal trainers, but Gil is the best fit for me. He listens, cares and truly knows his anatomy and biomechanics.
