I was unable to tolerate getting through the first and second videos because I was so irritated by them. I would prefer a tutorial where the tutor talks to me rather than talking to someone else who is pretending to be a novice (when she clearly isn't, so this came across as very patronising). I would also prefer straight talking instead of wasting so many words (and so much time) with waffle. I am sure it is a really good course if you can stick with it (I see they have won an award), but for me the style of presenting put me off. Sorry. More...

I fully expected not to be able to play, but by end of my first lesson, I realised that my fears were unfounded, long, long way to go, but I have a new confidence that I will do it. Brian is a great teacher, who I felt like I'd known for years. Highly recommended. More...
