Because of our hurried schedule this past year, we have eaten at the Battleground location of Ghassans quite a bit.
It turns out that Kalad, the lead guy also had a heart attack this year... More severe than mine and he has been out for several months. We've bonded over this.
The point of the intro, his crew has done a phenomenal job adapting, cross training and upping their game in his absence like no other food service team I've seen. Several of their young cashiers are now lead/line personnel and are doing a great job. The cooks are in the zone as well. It's just great to see a group pull together and maintain such a high level of customer service during a period of transition like they have had.

When I was working in Greensboro I would have lunch once a week with a coworker and on the weekends if I was running errands I would have lunch there. I always had the single platter with extra salad or fries. I loved it!! I have retired and live in WI now.
