Richard is truly what local businesses are about. Although I haven’t had to use him (yet) I could tell by my discussion with him that he really cares. He even offered to remove a bed with suspected bed bugs outside for me. I hope My suspicions of bedbugs aren’t confirmed but I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else if they are. Pretty much all pest services in the Chilterns didn’t want to help me nor have any suggestions for services and I found Richard online and couldn’t be happier with how thoughtful he was. Excellent service, called Richard and he came out the same day. Very professional, he checked all around outside and inside for mice/rats/squirrels as we didn’t know what the problem was. Richard traced out where he thought the problem stemmed from and dealt with it. He called regularly between visits to check on things and had the problem sorted in just three visits. I called him the Wednesday and he explained what and how he would treat the issue. He turned up on the Thursday and did the job. He was on his knees checking the area, he pulled out the cooker, fridge and did a good examination of the area. He explained everything he was doing and what I should do after he has gone. Lovely personality, genuine and totally put me at ease. I have never had an infestation of cockroaches before (bought a 2nd hand fridge and they had nested in the motor section) and so l was beside myself but he was just great at calming my anxiety. Was referred Richard by our neighbours who'd had mice problems like us and found his details on Yell. I'd tried various traps etc and other companies but the problem persisted so I was pleased to have a recommendation! Richard assessed the extent of our problem and got started straight away. He worked quickly, laying poison that day, returning the following week to check and re-lay, followed by a final visit to block up a number of gaps left behind cupboards by our builders, blocking them himself with bricks, concrete, wood and expandable foam. Although still early days, we've not had problems since the programme started and I feel he went above and beyond in actually blocking up holes that another (big name) company didn't bother doing, hopefully stopping the mice being able to come back. He was friendly and honest and I would definitely use him again (although I hope not to have to!!), so would recommend him to others over the big name companies who I've used and didn't do the job!! Evidence of rats under the floor is a scary find. Thank goodness we found Richard and that he was available to visit. Richard understood that our carpet moth infestation had to be fixed between tenancies and responded very quickly, booking another company to do the 2nd spraying in time, when he was unable to do it. I had a very difficult to access wasps nest in my roof but Richard, along with his son, eventually managed it nonetheless. I was certain at first, that once you have mice they will forever be running around your house; leaving droppings and eating holes into our food. But after looking online i saw GET-RIDOV and trusted my instincts and called them to book an appointment. The first visit was the worst as we were informed on all the gross details of mice infestation but by the time i had finished the full course of action- WOW no more mice droppings.
