Before I started these personal training sessions with Steve, I really lacked any motivation to exercise and struggled a lot with self confidence. I was also at the heaviest weight I had ever been. Since working with Steve over the past few months, I have lost weight, gained muscle mass and significantly improved my confidence. After years of hunching my back over, I now have a much better posture and feel that I can walk down the street taller and a spring in my step. Now I also look forward to exercising at home and have realised how much my workouts give me that boost in mood and overall physical feel after a long tiring today. I would highly recommend Steve for all the reasons above but also because he is an all round great guy- he is genuine, reliable and extremely friendly. I definitely recommend Stephen not just for the results but also because he motivates you and makes you laugh! Before starting training with Stephen I was not very toned and had a very weak upper body compared to my lower body (that's what hockey does to you! ) At first I was unsure because PT sessions are expensive, but as soon as I started I realised it was worth every penny! Plus Stephen also set me workouts to do in my own time, which really helped.Thanks to his amazing HIIT workouts I look and feel stronger and more in proportion :D. More...

Stephen is an absolutely fantastic personal trainer. I'm no athlete and had never done weights before but in the 6 months I've been working with Stephen I've gained 3cm on the arms and 6cm on the chest with a shrinking waist. Stephen is a great coach and also a good friend. Stephen's coaching has helped me, not just only psychologically. I was depressed and 0% motivation to do anything. But it's been 5weeks training with Stephen, I have lost 4.5cm from my waist and also he has taught how to being positive, with this positive thinking impact on my ability to cope with stress and my immunity and also have an impact on my overall well-being. Stephen was a great coach and he really helped me a lot in terms of losing weight and in gaining strength. He adjusts his training style to your current status and motivates you to progress without placing too much pressure on you. I started training with him a couple of months ago and I have seen massive change in my body especially in my posture. This helped me a lot to gain more confidence and I felt that I have more energy to face my day. He also helped me a lot in keeping myself motivated to do my workouts and my diet. Great coach. Having previously been in shape and then let it slide over the last 10 years (!) at the age of 40 i wanted to get back into shape. I tried cardio++ at the gym but was getting nowhere. 3 months with Steve and my life has literally turned around. Doing weights, eating healthily and carefully recording my calorie intake. He is motivated and keeps me updated with texts, reminding me to eat healthily and hit the gym. I was nervous before starting (having never really done weights before) but have had steady progress in the last 3 months. I would highly recommend Steven and his services, he is great and has helped me a huge amount. My reason for working with Steven was that I was overweight and had a terrible relationship with food! I was at a position where I felt the need to take action otherwise I would have just got heavier and unhealthier and it would have been even more difficult to do something about it. I had virtually never used gyms and so the idea of doing this alone and in public was intimidating. My first few sessions with Steven really put me at ease. He is a really encouraging and positive guy and his personal gym in his garage had all the space and equipment that I could need. Steven’s coaching has helped me a huge amount. I have lost 10kg, I am stronger, I have more energy and I have a lot more understanding of what is required to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Steven has also given me great advice on diet and nutrition which has opened my eyes a huge amount and led to me making much better choices when it comes to food. Having always been big on cardio, I had no idea where to begin when I first wanted to ‘tone up’ 6 months ago. That’s when I contacted Steve - the first personal trainer I have ever had. He was not only my personal guide for resistance training, but also my motivator and role model. In half a year, I have managed to see results in myself, and have gained a huge amount of confidence in the way I look. It is this confidence that I find hard to build by simply mimicking YouTube fitness videos. Around 8 months ago I realised that I wanted to do something positive to get in better shape. I was exercising already, mostly cardio, but never seeing the results I wanted. I contacted Steve due to good reviews on here, and immediately I knew it was a good choice. He has helped me realise the reasons I have struggled before and the reasons why I want to improve myself. Working out just once a week with Steve, as well as focusing on my nutrition with Steve's advice, I have lost around 8kg so far, lost around 6% of my body fat and and improved my muscle strength and definition. The sessions are never repetitive or boring and Steve always works with the individual to understand exactly what they want to achieve. My experience took almost a three year period. Had myself drinking unnecessary pills, sleepless night because of how i looked, worrying on how could i look like a "Men's Health" model, and worst of all having to work with guys who could feel confident about their body and themselves. That...i think, that was my turning point. Then i met Stevie on insta. He never was pushy, like the other dudes who'd claim to change your body in 10 days and drowned others in e-mails to buy their e-books. Stevie gave me confidence in his program. lol i still remember his 'WHY' question. A year or so passed and i didn't see any progress on my own, so finally this year i decided to invest in myself. Steve is just an upstanding guy who is passionate about helping his clients fulfil their goals. In the short time I've been with him I've gained much more upper-body strength, which is something I've never had prior to meeting Steve (even went rock climbing for the first time to try out my newfound strength)! I absolutely hate working out and he manages to make it tolerable, dare I say fun. He also does online coaching for anybody who's not near Cambridge, to good results from what I've heard. Due to the birth of my second child, I’d stopped training for a few years and was starting to put on weight particularly around my stomach area. I’m 44, 5ft 7 and was approaching a weight of 11 stone so not really overweight but was starting to develop a ‘bit of a belly’ which I was becoming conscious off. I started exercising at a gym about 5 months ago with a plan to becoming leaner and building some muscle (without trying to look like a body builder!). After about 3 months I found that I was making very slow gains and not really losing any fat and due to the type of exercises I was doing with poor technique I was prone to to frequent joint aches and muscle strains post-exercising as well.Due to the lack of progress, I decided to find a personal trainer and after being impressed with his website, I started with Steve about 5 weeks ago. Since starting, I’ve been very happy with his holistic approach to keeping fit, burning fat and actually doing exercises to maintain muscle health. I used to struggle with my diet as well but with Steve’s guidance I now know what and how much to eat without having to follow a strict ‘diet’ and can enjoy foods that I like! In the short time that I’ve been with Steve, the results to date have far surpassed my expectations - I’ve built up significant muscle mass around my chest, back, arms, legs and shoulders and have lost about 2-3 pounds at the same time. My stomach area is now flat with a 6 pack starting to show through. I also have a much improved posture and don’t suffer with many aches/strains after excersing.Friends and family members and even patients at work are commenting on how much more leaner and muscular I now look! I've been training with Steve for a few months now. He's a really good coach. He helped me to rehabilitate after a shoulder injury. Since I've been training with him my shoulder injury has healed and my neck and shoulders feel much better than they did before. He's very good at setting tailored goals for his clients. Since I started training with Stephen I have been so surprised at the difference even one session a week can make if you do the right kind of training. I used to think you had to run for hours on end to tone up and lose weight but you can do so much in such little time if you have the right guidance. I have a very busy job which makes it hard to find time to exercise and focus on eating right, let alone finding a gym, seeing a personal trainer etc but I was starting to see the effects this lifestyle was having on my body and was not happy about it. I was therefore really drawn to work with Stephen as he was offering a complete online package that would fit around my lifestyle.A big concern before starting was that my job requires me to regularly eat out in restaurants and I really didn’t want that to interfere with my progress. Incredibly due to the tips and guidance I received from Stephen I was still able to regularly eat out and achieve the results I wanted.Online coaching with Stephen has been a great way to incorporate tailored exercise into my weekly routine which is both effective and doable. It has also taught me so much about food, I’ve learnt to try new foods, and different combinations whilst still enjoying the food I love. I now feel I can continue to go on to make educated decisions about what I eat without it being a chore. It’s been the perfect combination of diet and fitness training that many others don’t offer.It is so easy to simply say I don’t have the time or energy for this etc but even from 12 weeks working with Stephen I feel like I have broken so many of those habits and formed better eating and exercise habits. I've been coming to see Steve since January. I felt really low and unmotivated before coming and see I got him. 6 months on I now have the confidence to go out and enjoy myself without feeling like people are judging me or what I look like. I have got a lot more out of it than just getting fitter and loosing some weight. Would highly recommend his services. I've been working with Steve for 6 weeks and I can't believe how far I've come, if you're not happy with the state of your body and health then he is your man, with just a few tweaks to both my diet and training I've lost 4kgs worth of body fat and 2 inches from my gut. I can visibly see the difference and have more energy to keep up with my kids, more drive to work and get more done in a shorter time period. I always had some form of excuse as to why I was never in the best shape... but now all those excuses seem silly and i am loving the sessions and bettering myself in all areas. This time last year I was very unhappy with my shape. Working in the fitness industry myself i went to see Steve knowing his expertise in Nutrition and movement. I really appreciate his knowledge on these areas, I learnt more from him in one session than any course I had ever taken (which is a lot). I'm so glad I started this journey working with stephen! Before I started I very rarely fit exercise in to my life and was so ashamed of how I had let my body down. The confidence that I have found already is amazing after already losing inches and pounds, I suffer with high blood pressure and ibs and I must say I've not had any flare ups from the ibs and my blood pressure has already lowered nicely. I've been training with Stephen for about 2 years. What's different about him is that he really does actually care - personal training for him is not an isolated experience or a quick fix - it's about long term improvements to your health and strength. I have a crazy work schedule which involves an equally crazy diet sometimes, and not once has he given me a disapproving word, he just reassures me and gives me practical advice and a realistic approach to achieving my goals, and most importantly makes me think about what those goals are, precisely (something most people skip out, just saying they want to generally 'lose weight' or 'tone up'). I have been training with Stephen for about two months now. He is totally dedicated to all of his clients. I have used personal trainers at gyms before in the past and Stephen beats them hands down.
