What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Forging swift contacts with the subject/subjects, and being a strong communicator that
enables me to capture the best images to illustrate the story / sell the product.
Working in commercial environments has given me a clear understanding and appreciation of 'saleable '
photography.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the target audience? What platforms are you planning to publish on, print/online ? what is the deadline?
What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing the moment, creating the image that has the right tone for the story/product. I love working in a team and bouncing ideas off one another to produce the image that sells. I want people to look at my images and remember them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to work for myself so I could have full control in what I was working on , without all the politics that come from working in a newsroom environment .
