I recently attended the Macrame Workshop and I would highly recommend these Workshops to anyone. Georgie was a great hostess:teacher. .....she also has the patience of a saint when explaining and demonstrating the knots required for the plant hanger. I went to a Macrame workshop at Georgie’s studio last night and it was absolutely fabulous! Georgie was a great host and taught the small group how to do a variety of different knots to create a planter, we were all very pleased with ourselves when we had finished. With everything that is going on in the world it was also nice to socialise at a safe distance while learning a new skill. Georgie also has some more workshops on during the rest of the year, including a winter wreath workshop which I will definitely be attending. Great night with a lovely host! Georgie got back to our enquiry very quickly and arranged to meet us at the venue to see what she advised. Doing a balloon drop in a church is unusual but we found her helpful, sympathetic to our needs and interested in what we were doing. I was very lucky to be invited to a Vintage Tea Party that Georgie catered, and it was perfect! When we arrived, the table was beautifully decorated and laid with an amazing selection of food and tableware, all set off with ‘vintage’ music in the background. The food tasted as good as it looked and there was a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes and other tasty treats. We also had the choice of different teas (or coffee) and cold drinks. What do you love most about your job?
This isn’t a job, it’s a passion. With 17 years experience in the design industry I am a perfectionist and try to deliver above and beyond to achieve the right look and feel for your event. My aim is to make it memorable and hassle free.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My mum. A true inspiration, sadly having lost her battle with cancer, she told me this was my calling. I intend to fulfill this and in turn create lots of wonderful events for my clients
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m approachable, friendly and I know how to make an event an incredible one. I work closely with my clients and take their lead, I get to know what you want and I make it happen.
