Such a great place, we need more NOLA inspired for in town. I had the shrimp & grits, biscuits, charcuterie plate and lemon curd. Highly recommend.

I had a bad experience a few years ago at their other location, but I'm happy to say my last visit was great. Service was immaculate. We went on Sunday morning, but I can't remember the servers name. Food was good for everyone, but the French toast was a touch underwhelming. More...

My wife and I were frequent visitors of Finca. It was one of our favorite restaurants. We absolutely loved the vegetarian paella. It was our favorite meal- Not just at the restaurant but like our favorite meal out of anywhere we have ever been. When we went to check out George we were certain the Paella would still be on the menu. Alas, we were extremely disappointed. The food was still really good (cauliflower sandwich, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, and bacon wrapped dates) and the service was still good but we are still getting over loosing something so close to us. We will come back again and try the place after we have had adequate time to mourn. If the owner reads this, please. Please. Please bring back the paella. If your not going to bring it back, that’s okay, but please send me the recipe or something. More...

The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. This place was definitely a more expensive restaurant, but you totally get what you pay for. If you are looking for a night on the town with a romantic partner or group of friends for a special occasion in salt lake city, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. More...

I had my birthday dinner of 20 guests at George this past weekend and it was a hit! I loved Finca and all the rest of Scott Evan's restaurants so I was excited to host my party here and I am so happy I did. Their private room is perfect for a party and we could be in there enjoying ourselves and getting a little bit loud without disturbing the other guests. Drinks came out fast and our server was very on top of keeping us full. With their manager Colton I was able to pick 5-6 menu options for my guests so service and the kitchen could streamline their service for us. We had their cheese plate, the George Burger, meatballs, Little Gem salad, poutine and bacon wrapped dates. Everything came out in a timely manner and were delicious! Especially the bacon wrapped dates, my fiance and I each got our own plate haha. I would definitely recommend them for a party! We had our own private space, didn't have to pay extra for the space and the service was great. More...

Delicious food! Every dish was so well designed. My Canadian husband was skeptical that poutine made with mushroom gravy could meet standards, but it was excellent! The bacon dates, the stuffed peppers, the brussel sprouts, the poutine and the paella were all awesome. The churros and chocolate- meh (churros we're to mushy inside and the chocolate was too thick). Small portions and a little on the pricey side. But you gotta pay for a good chef. Also, the atmosphere was beautiful. More...

I have been to this restaurant two times. One time was a 5 star experience filled with delicious food and fantastic service in a unique and intriguing atmosphere. The other time was a 3 star experience with mediocre food, decent service, and a dark and loud atmosphere. I was not paying, so I can't speak to the expense of this restaurant. Each dish is designed to feed 4 people so be prepared to order as a team. The difference in the two experiences was in having someone who knew Spanish food do the ordering. The 5 star experience included someone who had lived in Spain for 8 months or so and she ordered food that she knew was delicious. We were also in a different room. This was helpful because the lighting and artwork were better.Overall, I would recommend this restaurant as long as you know what to order. It really can be absolutely delicious. More...

Have eaten here multiple times (old and present location) with very different experiences each time. Inventive and delicious small plates, good wine and cocktail menu. Beautiful new setting and comfortable (except for the wing room adjacent to the main room). However noise level (from large parties--and they are frequent) and service (given large parties) can be a real problem. More...

This place is good. It’s tapas so the portions are small and it’s a little pricey. There were several things I really liked and several things that were just okay. And we tried a lot of things on the menu. Here’s what I liked:Patatas Bravas - I actually didn’t want to get these because they sounded blah but they were hands down my favorite thing. I have cravings for these potatoes. Cheese and meat plateDátil - blue cheese stuffed date wrapped in bacon. This is waaaay good! Here’s what was okay:Albóndigas - Spanish meat ballsGambas al Ajio - shrimp in garlic which usually is something I love but wasn’t blown away by thisCooked carrots - not goodEmpanada - this was not good at all, especially since I’ve had waaay better for a lot cheaperBrussel sprouts - I like a good grilled brussel sprout dish. This was good but not great. I do think it’s worth trying. You just need to find the right thing for you. More...

Classy modern Spanish small plates/tapas restaurant. The wait staff were friendly and made suggestions. The service was wonderful and the food very good. This place is perfect for a swankier, fancier get-together.The atmosphere on a weeknight between 6:30 and 8 is very calm and quiet. The acoustics aren’t engineered for a quiet meal, but on a slower weeknight, I could converse with my dinner partner just fine. More...
