This is my favourite pub in Wycombe. The bast thing is the staff, who all seem to have a great attitude, and are both friendly and efficient. The very close second is the food. I've taken many friends to eat here, and it's always been superb. The pub itself is a gorgeous old building, and in the siummer they have a lovely garden. We called to book a table explaining we had a very large dog and they welcomed us extremely well walking us to the table in the corner with loads of space for our Newfy.
The lunch we had was really superb, I opted for the beef brisket which was a special. It was absolutely perfect! My wife ordered the pork belly and that was the best I’ve ever seen. I don’t tend to order pork belly as it never arrives the way I like but this was again a perfect dish. We will certainly look forward to coming back, thank you once again for your hospitality! The George and Dragon is my son-in-law and his wife's first choice for a meal when they come to visit me. Very nice olde world atmosphere. An excellent, friendly and helpful waiter and it was nice to have the chef's recommendations The meals were produced in house and were very tasty.
