I have found the web services of Genesis Design LLC and Founder Patricia Keene to be extraordinary. From the moment that we connected on a zoom call, I felt that she had done her homework, and totally understood what I was needing in a new website, even beyond my own version of it. I was also quite set on using certain technologies, but her suggestions were vast improvements on what I thought I should be using. Her graphic design capabilities are outstanding. She works remotely, easily over the phone, and always met her deadlines. She communicates in a timely manner. ...... I have used many website designers in the past, and she is absolutely at the top of my list. And I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs website work or design. Thank you, Dr. Frederic Wiedemann More...

I had the pleasure of working with Genesis Design to create a new website. I worked with Patricia and found her to be extremely knowledgeable, a talented designer and very accessible. (Not to mention very reasonably priced). Designing a new website can be very stressful, especially if your technically challenged. Patricia made the entire process seamless and easy. I would highly recommend Genesis Design (and Patricia) for your project!! More...

Q&As

User interface and content. The ease of navigation is important to find needed information on your web site. The content/messaging should convey clear information as to not waste the viewers time. Design elements to attract and keep the viewers attention and retain them on the site as well as a "call to action" element so, potential customers have an avenue to possibly use or purchase, what the web site/business is offering.

What are your goals and what are the problems you face reaching those goals?
What do you want to convey in your messaging? Telecommuting, budget, time frame and any other details moving forward.

I like to work "backwards" in the development process. Thinking about the end use of the marketing and branding items.
This applies to both conceptual and physical building of design assets for my clients. This eliminates potential problems that would cost time and money. Like anyone, none of us cares much for wasting time or money. I start with a conversation about the needs and the directive. I think about what the client needs and how best, based on design trends and good communication, to assemble a design project around who they are. Then we move into the brainstorming phase; create a few varieties of conceptual ideas and review them with the client. The client is the driving force in the molding of there vision - I facilitate, to make sure it's conducive to market/design trends, for the best results. Lastly, we go into the finalization of products for end use.

The vision - the directive. What is needed in terms of what they want to convey to potential customers. I want to know their business, ideas, dreams and goals. The end use of a project. What they expect from Genesis in regards to product support.

Helping business owners and people have a great design to showcase what they do. I love creating dynamic design and messaging. The friendships and functional art forged through collaboration is by far, the best. Its makes everyone successful. I like that.

Like other business owners, it was time to start doing what I love for a living. It's really not about money, but creating your own income is pretty rewarding. It's about self expression and a quality of life that I was looking for. We spend a majority of our lives working - why not do your passion? so, I . . . RISE CREATE ACT

I know what it's like running a business. Their is so much to do! When I have a need outside of my "wheelhouse," I go to some who knows how to get it done. I have the tools, experience, and the network to reach goals. I am very open and transparent. I take and make time, for my people. My clients are my friends and I know that they are relying on me. I take that very seriously. I am light hearted and keep stress a bay. I am a positive person that just wants to help with my clients endeavors.
