Great work! First of all, be moved his schedule around a bit to fit us in on the same day we called. We had just moved in so we were still learning the house as well. He did an awesome job! The carpets looked and smelled clean. I was at work and my boyfriend had to pick up some stuff from the storage unit, so we asked if he could just lock the door and go out the garage. Well turns out our garage opener is basically busted, so he spent extra time there making sure that the door was closed. He even texted us after and let us know the “trick” of closing it. Finding Steve on Amazon Services, I was thoroughly delighted with his personable and professional skills. He cleaned my gutters (had been a long time since they were cleaned) and further found a problem in one of the down spouts. He went above and beyond to clean out a section of underground piping that could have gone unseen by others. He suggested 2 ways to fix the problem, one less expensive than the other. He'll be coming back this spring for that fix and carpet cleaning, because he was costs sensitive to his customer, but also knowledgeable in finding a way to fix a problem that could have otherwise been detrimental to the foundation of the house. Professional people and equipment. These brothers do a little bit of everything! I found them while looking for duct cleaning services, and am so glad I did! They had very reasonable rates, even coming out to Herscher. They arrived exactly at the appointed time and got right to work. We had just purchased our older home, and the job was EXTENSIVE., but they never complained. They were friendly, and respectful of me, my children, and my home. I used The General Maintenance Company to assemble an incline therapy bench and also a TV stand which included an electric fireplace. Steve is the assembler and worked both jobs for me. If you need furniture or equipment assembled I strongly recommend. They perform other services which I have not used. However, based on my two very positive experiences, I'd highly recommend them. General Maintenance, Inc. was incorporated in March of 2016 after operating for several years as a sole proprietorship.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We bring our own supplies and equipment for all the services we provide. In cases where cross contamination is a concern, we do prefer to use client-provided supplies like toilet brushes, etc.
What do you love most about your job?
Making a difference in the quality of life for my clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a problem solver by nature, and saw many problems in the cleaning industry as a whole for which I had practical solutions.
