I used the services of The Mazzei Group for two jobs. Their last visit was for installing a new roof and there was also some work because of storm damage about two or three weeks ago. They put new shingles on the roof, repaired my gutters and replaced the fascia by the side of my house. They repaired a leakage in my basement window when they first came out in February.I am very satisfied with them. The work went on very well and I don t have any problems now. The Mazzei Group Construction added a level to our home within budget and on time. The exterior & interior turned out to be exceptionally beautiful and much to our satisfaction. Their staff worked everyday for three months until the addition was complete. They promptly returned on several occasions to review aspects of the project that needed any adjustments. Their team arrived early and worked diligently to adhere to the schedule.. We are totally satisfied with the project and their craftsmanship was unparalleled to other companies. The professionalism exhibited by the Mazzei group was outstanding. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to hire them again . Replaced two sections of a residential sidewalk, repaired several feet of curb, repaired a concrete patch and applied joint sealer in order to clear a sidewalk violation prior to the sale of a home in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, New York. We discovered the violation only about two weeks before the house was to close. Accordingly, there was significant time pressure to complete this work. Also, this came in January during a bitter cold spell.

I had previously obtained an estimate from another contractor and I thought it was excessive. I called Ettorie at Mazzie. He went to the home over the New Years holiday weekend and e-mailed me a written estimate. It was abut half of what the other contractor wanted. He had his crew (including his son David) at the house the following Tuesday. They did a great job. I would have given an Excellant in all categories; however, one small section of concrete wasn't quite as smoothed out as I would have expected. I did not mention it otherwise I'm sure they would have corrected it. That is why I gave them a Good rating on quality instead of an Excellant rating in that category.
