Gemma is amazing she made everyone feel so comfortable, she worked well with my photograph to enable them to take photos of us getting ready. My hair is very thick and long and she made sure that it stayed in place for the whole day. As someone who does not where make up often she made my make up natural and to suit me. Gemma came to do my hair & make up recently for my sons wedding at The Barnsley House Hotel ( near Cirencester )
I confess I was nervous at the prospect of having this done by someone I hadn't met before but I needn't have worried . Gemma has the knack of being extremely professional but equally , warm & friendly & puts you at ease the moment she walks through the door .
I was a tricky client . Not used to pampering myself or being pampered by others & although I knew as Mother of the Groom I needed to " step up " for the day , I was concerned I would look too formal & not be myself . Gemma responded patiently after initial requests to " tweak this " & "tweak that " & in the end after a lot of perseverance on her part we both got the results we were after !!

Gemma is an absolutely outstanding Hair and Make up artist. From the first contact Gemma was nothing short of a consummate professional. She asked exactly what I wanted and on the day delivered that and more. Gemma was so easy to talk to and communication was fantastic, she arrived at our hotel on time and so well prepared. She made me so relaxed as she has such a warm and friendly nature. At the end I felt like we had known each other for years. I had my hair and makeup done for a wedding we were attending and Gemma even waited until I was dressed to help me with my fascinator. She made me feel wonderful and everyone loved my finished look. The hair and make up lasted all day through the warmth and dancing and made me feel like a better version of myself all day. I even travelled home in my hair the next day. I only wish Gemma lived closer to me so that I could use her all of the time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or to use her again. You would be silly to look elsewhere. More...

Gemma did my hair and make up for my 30th Birthday. I gave her an idea of what I wanted before the day but said I was open to her professional opinion. I don’t wear much make up so didn’t want anything too dramatic..........well, I’m glad I went with Gemma’s suggestions and went for something I would have originally said no to! My hair and make-up have been done several times by Gemma for several occasions. She has always fit to the theme (such as the 50's, Winter Palace 1917) and has always made a wonderful work. I was so pleased to receive loads of compliments from the other hosts.
She also have done the make-up of my 12-year-old daughter for a Bollywood performance. The result was just stunning. It's amazing how she could transform my little girl into a beautiful Indian lady. I could hardly recognize her!
