Gordon Castle Highland Games & Country Fair, great weather, nice venue, nice family friendly event. Dog friendly with great examples of breeds in attendance. Entry rather expensive.

Went to the Highland games in 2018 and had a great time! Lots of food stalls, music tent, highland dancing competitions, dog show and birds of prey show! Hope they found their bird again after she decided to go for a wonder round the grounds! More...

Lovely sunny day out with the dogs today at gordon castle highland games. First time here and we all loved it. Plenty of entertainment in the rings for everyone with children's races too, Lovely stalls with beautiful gifts .Good day had by all

The driveway could do with a tidy up. The cafe was spacious, well laid out, the decor pleasing to the eye, and the toilets were first-class.
The food was excellent(the vegetarian stir-fry was not particularly appealing- heavy-handed with the soy sauce which made it very salty). The drinks menu was wide and varied and very good. The staff were all exceptional, attentive without being intrusive, and very friendly.
A walk around the walled garden and a visit to the qualitive gift-shop rounded off a very pleasant afternoon.
Would recommend a visit to this jewel to everyone.

An excellent place for lunch. Crisp, elegant decor made all the better for the lovely food. It was the best sandwich I've had for a very long time! Furthermore, the food garden next to the eatery adds a lovely touch, and knowing some of the produce you are eating is produced so close is wonderful.
