Used Wayne and his team recently on 3 jobs over a short period. Firstly he cleared my garden out and replaced with new lawn and flower beds. Did such a good job that I asked Wayne to re-pave my drive with block paving and flower beds. Lastly he replaced the fence along one side of the house with a new gate and trellis for security. Short version: We are very happy with our garden and would use GBL Landscapes again.Long version:We contacted GBL Landscapes at the end of January 2019. From the beginning they were very helpful, We had an on-site consultation where they offered their insights in to what would work best for our garden and were given an approximate quotation. We weren't sure what kind of paving we would want for our patio; so they sent me a list of prices and images of pavings they supply via WhatsApp and recommended a local garden paving company so that we could choose a style in person. Their quotation came very quickly after we selected our paving (Selected paving mid February, decisions made and final quote, end of Feb) and was broken down to sufficient detail so that we knew what we were paying for.In the first week of March, GBL landscapes returned to draw up a final plan of our garden and to finalise the details of removing the pond (and electricals) They arranged skip hire and diggers and we provided parking permits, everything went ahead from the beginning of April.By the 10th of April they had finished the garden, due to a delay with the council granting permission we postponed some tree work and GBL Landscapes were very accommodating. A subtraction to the quote was agreed with a promise to return once permission was granted for the reduced price.Six months later, GBL Landscapes returned to finish the job at the agreed price.They were very professional throughout. Always on time and very responsive to communication (calls, messages).We would definitely recommend them to our friends if they were looking for garden work to be done.[For the interest of the reader, we had a crazy paved garden with a large pond and electricals removed and replaced with a 50/50 grass/patio area with a pair of timber raised flower beds, a very simple family garden] More...

I'm happy to recommend Wayne and GBL Landscapes.First off when Wayne came round he really took an interest in what was involved and what we wanted. Our quote arrived promptly along with a drawing and was a very fair price compared to the two other companies we had looked at. The job was booked in, there was a short delay because of unforeseen circumstances but Wayne kept us well informed and his can do attitude made sure that we were only kept waiting a couple of days beyond what we expected.Wayne and George worked long and hard to turn our 'car park' in to a beautiful garden surprisingly quickly compared to other quotes, and he followed our initial plan to the letter. The garden was meant to be 2018 project but at 8 months pregnant and just moving back into a house that took 8 months renovation I have been in full on nesting mode.
I needed the garden to be perfect before my maternity leave started! I had a variety of quotes but i am SO happy i went with Wayne at GBL Landscapes.
Wayne totally understood all my requirements, he was polite and talked me through all options- he also followed it up speedily with a quote with a variety of material and cost options. He understood my desire to have everything ready pre-baby and worked around my schedule perfectly.
He arrived early every day, was incredibly polite and managed to totally transform my rubble garden into something I can look out on and love in less than a week! He worked tirelessly and what's more, as we don't have garden only access, he protected the new refurbished house and paintwork!
After 8 months of different workmen, both my husband and I agreed that Wayne is one of the best we have worked with! His professionalism, manners and likeability was so refreshing.
I LOVE my garden and would highly recommend him for anyone needing their garden transformed.
