GBH Big Band is made up of professional musicians from Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire playing both conventional big band repertoire and more unusual projects - Ellington's Nutcracker Suite, Stravinsky's Ebony Concerto (written for the Woody Herman Band) and Paul Hart's Concerto for guitar and jazz orchestra (a bigger version of a big band!

Big Band - 17/18 musicians (5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones plus rhythm, section) with or without a singer

Small Big Band - 8 musicians (2 saxes, trumpet, trombone, rhythm) plus singer if required. An ideal compromise on space and price but still all the value!
