Budget laptop with broken screen. Was convinced beyond economic repair, but Chris not only quoted a very good price to repair, but replaced it and contacted me immediately (basically a day later! ) when he had done so. Amazing service and knowledge. Chris built me a fantastic development machine with the AMD 1950x processor, built to meet my requirements (multiple VM's, machine-learning etc) and within budget. Complete with a Linux (fedora) install :)

For several long years now, I've been taking my computer woes, with a long face, to Chris's shop.He's rightly called me a few absolutely accurate epithets when he's looked at what I "fixed", but we've never fallen out and additionally he's been right every time. Whatever he's charged me I know from hindsight that it's always been pretty darn fair, considering the lashups I've done. I respect the man, and though he's no spring chicken now, if I want to know what's really wrong with my machine and if it's even worth bothering with, Chris'll tell me STRAIGHT and almost certainly will be able to not only get the part needed but fit it legally and accurately. Love these guys, Twice they have come to my rescue, twice they have completely gone the extra mile to help me out. My needs were challenging to say in the least But these chaps quickly found solutions to my quite considerable problems. Completely saved my bacon. I also would like to point out that after working day and night to sort my technical mishap they presented me with a bill which was more than reasonable for the amount of work they had done.

we r new to Chelmsford and just googled for computer repair and on google reviews basis went to this company as other company which i used just last week was closed. forgot to ask name of person but only one person was there and he checked laptop immediately and sorted issue with laptop not getting on. did not charge me for that. even though there was no repair involved but some people would just charge for even checking whats issue in laptop. now next time if my laptop break i know where to go as kind of service i received today i m sure this is good company for laptop repair More...

At 4.30 on a Saturday afternoon my desktop PC would not switch on so I searched online for somewhere to take it for repair. I came across G.B.C. Micros and gave them a call as they are local to me, and they suggested I take it to them and they would take a look at it for me. As they are open until 5.30 I took my PC straight down to them. I was expecting to be without my computer for at least the next few days whilst they did a diagnoses check on it. Within 10 minutes of arriving Chris had opened my PC, told me what the problem was and offered to fix it at a VERY reasonable price whilst I waited. As I was unable to wait while he repaired it I asked if I could collect my PC on Monday morning and Chris agreed that this would not be a problem.
I thoroughly recommend G.B.C. Micros, call them first before going ANYWHERE else and paying rip off over inflated prices when Chris will give you help and advice, and if possible repair your device at a price that is fair and reasonable. i really HIGHLY recommend this guy if you have PC/Laptop issues..
After having a problem on my sony viao fan , i took my laptop here & he fixed it , after taking the time to order a new fan from overseas. he also kept me informed what was going on.
trustworthy , honest & a very fair price for replacing it for me...

I went in, having not been before, just for a quick inquiry and Chris stopped what he was doing and solved the issue there and then in a couple of hours, even though he had a very bust day.
