I honestly do not know how to start this review as both myself and my husband are extremely happy with Gasworks Edinburgh. From leaving our details and explaining that we had no heating nor hot water for over a week the very quick response from Adam was exceptional. Adam came to the house and spoke through with us what was needed and what not was necessary and within a few hours we had a VERY competitive quote given to us. After agreeing the price we were told the work would start the following afternoon and clearly the guys had been out working all day and had fitted us in with us not having any heating nor hot water but they arrived very upbeat happy and very friendly. They got to work straight away not even stopping for a well earned break. The care and attention these guys shown in my house was very professional. For a young team of tradesmen their manners are impeccable. Each and every step of the installation of the new boiler if we had ANY questions Bernard and Adam were more than happy to answer. Bernard and Adam worked tirelessly for a good 5 -6 hours as they were pulling out all the stops to get me heating that night and they did. In the space of those 5-6 hours Bernard and Adam removed the old boiler removed 2 water tanks removed "off the Ark" pipes, drilled a new flue in my wall filled the old flue hole and fitted the new boiler and new pipes plus whatever else goes under the house These guys were simply amazing and not once did they complain or moan. The following evening Adam came back and finished off the work which took a few more hours and he was very patient at explaining everything to me as believe me I had a lot of questions. Adam also repeatedly assured us that if we had any questions or queries regarding the new boiler and settings not to hesitate and to give him a call. Adam is a huge credit to Gasworks Edinburgh.I would not hesitate to recommend Gasworks Edinburgh to anyone and in the few days I have had the pleasure of having them in my house I have spoken non stop to anyone who I've spoke to raving about them. Very happy with the service I received. Had to install a new boiler in my flat, after being mucked about by a few different gas companies I decided to go with Gas Works based on reviews. The job was quoted for and when I agreed to go ahead work started straight away. All done very quickly and professionally, and also came back to give gas safety certificate and carried out extra work and didn't charge for it. Cant recommend this company enough. Thanks again!!! When our boiler had packed in we called gasworks and spoke to Bernard and he told us he would come out straight away and replace with a new boiler as we were with out heat. He turned up to ours on time and went over the work that he was going to carry out and gave us great advice. We left him and his apprentice to carry out the work and when we arrived back home that evening the work had been complete to a high standard our house as we left it. Bernard went through the set up stage and how the boiler worked. Bernard and his team couldn’t be more helpful, they show up on time every time and they were all polite and very clean and tidy. First Class Company, Bernard and his team are BRILLIANT.
Just had the central Heating system power flushed and the guys were very Friendly and professional.
Price quoted was very reasonable and well worth it.
The guys even took their SHOES OFF ! Now that's respect for their customer property!

Bernard has done 3 jobs for me now and has proved to be extremely relaiable and efficient. He dealt with a particularly difficult job for my parents and persisited until he had fixed the problem which Briitsh gas couldn't.

I have used Gasworks twice i the last 6 month , first was an emergency call out late at night , Bernard arrived within 30 mins isolated the problem , then within a couple days fitted new shower at very reasonable price. The second was to replace old boiler with new baxi boiler with Nest thermostat. Bernard talked me through the different type of boilers but didn't try to sell the most expensive or replace radiators that didn't need replaced. My boiler broke Christmas day, so no hot water and central heating, I phoned a few people but nobody was able to come in the next week or longer. ... then I found Gasworks phone number in internet and Bernard came 45 minutes after my call due to the bad situation that i had with my boiler over Christmas, he gave me a good solution, help me to find a good boiler for the needs of my house and next day 7.30 he was installing the new one so I had hot water and heaters working next day.... They were working for several hours, more than they were expected, and finally they left everything "super tidy and clean".

I wanted to take the time to write a wholeheartedly positive review for Gasworks Edinburgh.

I had to replace a failing boiler… which is not something anyone relishes doing. There is always a financial impact of course, and it can be disruptive and stressful — especially if (like me) you’re well out of your comfort zone when it comes to boilers and plumbing.

My boiler replacement job was particularly tricky because of an awkward boiler position and a flue run through a ceiling cavity… I had multiple consults and quotes, pretty much all of which gave me news I really didn’t want to hear. So in the end I had a broad frame of reference to compare local service providers!

Truth be told, I was at the end of my tether by the time I happened upon Gasworks, and I’m so thankful that I did, because they were BY FAR the best choice. I’ll tell you why:

• First up, Bernard and Stevie were just really well mannered and professional. They came round to assess the work required, and where other companies had been reluctant to take the job on because it wasn’t immediately straightforward, these guys listened to my concerns and made a big effort to identify the best solution.

• Their quote was more than reasonable, among the lowest I got — plus it was the real deal. (Another company had sent a salesman round who promised the earth, only for the actual installation rep to come round a week later and announce that the proposed installation wouldn’t be possible!) Bernard and Stevie weren’t deterred by the fact the job was going to prove slightly awkward, and the price they charged was very fair.

• When it came to the installation itself, they delivered exactly as they promised. Not only were they extremely efficient, but they demonstrated a friendly and helpful attitude throughout. It was clear they really take care of their customers.

I say all this because I know I can’t be the only one who agonises over these kinds of decisions, and who worries about things going sideways when you get work done on your home. Let’s face it, we’ve all heard horror stories from friends and neighbours about boiler installations and the like…

So really you want to find an outfit you can trust, and one who will respect your wishes, your property and your bank balance! I am delighted to recommend Gasworks Edinburgh without a moment’s hesitation. Put your faith in them, and you won’t regret it. More...

So impressed with this company. Happened to park next to them waiting for my handyman to do an emergency job in my holiday property. Couldn't be more impressed with the service from Gasworks. We had a new boiler installed after ours broke. We got a few quotes - these guys arrived when they said they would which was already more professional than some of the others. Their quote was similar to others which appears fair for the labour involved - but their boiler package was better value and the boiler itself was higher rated, according to the internet! They noted our small baby and were flexible on timings to help us out. Absolutely excellent service! I phoned with a plumbing problem and 30 minutes later the engineer Franky was round at my place. Not only did he do a thorough job of what was needed, he let me use some tools for my current renovations and had some good advice as well. He also gave me a tool which he had 2 of in his box! Frankie came to us on Friday night even though he'd been held up all day on other jobs. Very professional and explained what needed doing in an understandable way. In the end we had to have a new boiler fitted but they worked over the weekend sourcing the one we wanted and were here first thing on Monday ready to fit. Specially welcome as we are coming in to winter.

Boiler now fitted. An expert job done with good grace. Bernard, the manager at Gasworks, patiently explained how the new one worked and made sure the system was properly flushed through and working perfectly.
