One of the best place to eat in NW portland,
Excellent food, very good customer service for a small Place. Prices are very very reasonable for the quality.
The owner is always there providing insight into the food.

My husband got the lamb shank and he said it was one of the best lamb shanks he in a long time. He highly suggest it if you like lamb. I got the chicken plate it was very good. So happy to found this gem! I got the Chef's Special which is a little of everything: shrimp, octopus, salmon, and tuna. I tried to substitute the octopus for chicken, however the owner resisted. He said, "The octopus is our signature dish. I would highly recommend you try it. If you don't like it I will refund it myself." With such confidence, how could I say no?! OMG...so glad I didn't! It was spectacular. Tender and fresh, in fact all the seafood was cooked perfectly. Tuna seared with a little pink, shrimp not over done, and the dressing on the salad was simply delicious, the rice was made with squid ink, and the rustic bread was toast perfectly.
