Steve perfectly captured our day. I cannot tell you the amount of compliments we received from our guests immediately after the wedding because of the positive interactions they had with him while filming AND after the wedding, once they watched our film. I was extremely specific and picky with how I wanted the video to look, and Steve patiently listened and delivered on all of my requests. We knew having a piece of art we could look back on was important, but I don't think we knew how Steve would be able to capture all of the feelings into such a beautiful display of love. We hired Stephen after a glowing review from my daughter's close friend Vicki Ledon, whose video is featured, and seeing her incredible video. He gave us a very fair price and was extremely detailed and conscientious when planning our video, capturing everything from start (makeup at the hotel) to finish. He even showed up to the venue for our rehearsal so that he could see the setup and be well prepared for the big day. I had a good feeling about him just from talking on the phone. We did not actually meet until the wedding rehearsal, the day before, since my daughter lives in California. I cannot wait to see the final product! What do you love most about your job?
I love every aspect of creating wedding videos. I love meeting with the Bride and Groom to learn about how they plan to make the day special and unique , and then to make sure I have a plan to be able to capture all of those special moments and aesthetics. On the day, is the where all planning pays off, BUT you have to flexible, because things never go exactly to plan. I pride my self in my flexibility, in attitude and ability. I am always on the look out for the special moments or nuances that just happen. In the end it all comes down to the edit. This is where the magic happens. I love finding all the gems from the day, and the story elements, both audio and visual, and blending them into an intricate tapestry of mood and feelings that portray the beauty and happiness of the day.
My sincere goal is to artistically capture all of the important and loving moments of the special day, and to craft them into a beautiful film that tells the unique story of the Bride and Groom. My prime hope is that the Bride and Groom will love the film now and cherish it forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had the desire to make films and to have the ability to create on my own schedule and based on my own inspiration. The business aspect is a necessity, but I am enjoying building all the elements and processes that are required to have a healthy thriving business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I LOVE what I do! Put simply, I love making wedding films! This shows in how I approach everything about the process. From the first meeting , until the last deliverable, I take great care to ensure every detail is addressed and attended to.
I make it my business to be positive and good natured 100% of the time. A good attitude shouldn't only happen when you feel like it, it is the foundation from which all creative and productive results flow.
