I needed a professional headshot for my business and I needed it quickly but I didn't want to settle with just anyone. After a few hours of searching for a Headshot photographer in Kansas City I stumbled upon Gary.

He was very responsive in our first encounters via email. He responded in a timely fashion, asked the right questions about my expectations, and setup a time to meet.

During the shoot, I was impressed with his breadth of knowledge of the camera. Certainly, this should go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many people walk around with a Canon Rebel t3i thinking they can shoot a professional headshot in natural light. It just doesn't work that way. Gary had the right equipment for the job and knew how to use it. He wasn't fumbling over his camera settings, he was using that time to engage with me.

Most of all, I was impressed by the way Gary was able to capture my personality during the headshot. That is not an easy task! You see some headshots where the person looks scared, timid, or nervous. That is because the photographer did not know how to get the person to feel natural in front of the camera.

Gary uses some ninja tactics to get you to smile, feel like a human instead of a subject, and, in the end, he produces an incredible and professional quality headshot. Thanks, Gary! More...

I had never met Gary before and found him on the internet.  I told him that I had a very old picture torn in several areas and I wanted to try to get it fixed as good as I could for my two brothers birthday that was coming up. Much to my amazement he was able to surpass what I thought could be done on this picture.  He was able to repair the entire picture to almost 98%.  I would have been happy with him restoring it to at least 50% of the original.When I presented it to my brothers they were both so overwhelmed that I found someone that could restore it that they both started weeping.  Thank you Gary for restoring my brother's memory!I highly recommend Gary Rohman Photography for any photography work.  He is an amazing photographer!
