I have had Gary perform at two events on two separate occasions separated by six years, so I have seen two acts separated in time, and both were spectacular. He is a consummate professional, catering to your needs as a host. For one party, we had him perform from a small staged area to a crowd, with several illusionist tricks, card tricks, and tricks with props (the $1 bill and lemon tricks were great!) We also had him at a party when he was mostly strolling through the cocktail party, performing for small groups of guests of 3 to 5 people. At both events he astonished everyone with the magic, multiple standing ovations and shrieks of glee. Even the folks dead-set on figuring out his tricks were baffled and amazed at the illusions. Our group had the good fortune to hire Gary Goodman to perform at our annual autumn luncheon at Gleneagles Country Club in Delray, Florida. Â Gary came highly recommended, therefore,we were expecting a good show. Â Instead we got a GREAT show! Â Gary combined humorous banter with his mentalist feats. Â He was able to read the audience of 100 and give us a fabulous show. Â Murmurs of, "how could he possibly have done that?" and "how could he have known that?" were heard throughout the room. What can I say about Gary Goodman I found Gary on the internet after googling magicians in the Boca Raton area. After , our first telephone conversation, I hired Gary without our ever seeing  him perform in person. Sometimes , you just get a feeling about a person. What I liked best, was that Gary was always accessible, whether it be a phone call , email or text.I hired Gary for my husband's 70th birthday. I had 46 adult guests at the party. Gary said he would stroll around and do , up, close and personal magic during the cocktail part of my party.  He said he would perform a 45 minute show  afterwards . As it turned out, the party logistics changed and Gary was flexible and able to improvise. He did the show first and then his stroll around magic. Gary mesmerized us. His personality, magic, mind reading, humor and tricks intrigued 46 adults. We are all still talking about it and trying to figure out how he was able to do certain tricks/magic and mind reading!Do not think twice about hiring Gary. This review is long but deserved... We saw Gary at the Boca Black Box and he puts on a great show. His magic is great but what's really hard to figure out is the "mind reading". Very hard to imagine how the tricks are done.. My partner loved the show and she was volunteering unsuccessfully every-time he asked...We liked it so much, I thought of Gary when it came time to present a ring. We spoke and he was eager to be a part of the night. We came up with a plan to "recognize" him at a local bar/rest, have some small talk and convince him to do some magic for us. He/we pulled off the acting and he launched into several really great close-magic tricks. We had a small crowd gathered around by the end with only Gary and I knowing the diamond ring would appear from a ball of flame as a finale! He was AWESOME! We had the pleasure of having Gary perform at our home for a dinner party that I made for my husbands 60th birthday. I am happy to say he was an amazing hit! ! I was so pleased. He is a gem of a guy! He was flexible with his timing when dinner ran late, he was hysterically funny, his magic was so entertaining, and all my guests couldn't stop raving about the evening. I couldn't have been happier with my choice to hire him. We booked Gary for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party and he was absolutely fantastic! Cub Scout Pack 333 hired Gary Goodman to perform at our Blue and Gold Banquet. Â There were about 75 people there, including 30 kids ranging from 5-12 years of age. Â He was outstanding! Gary entertained our guests at our annual holiday party. Â We hosted about 100 adults at our home. Â He performed 'strolling magic' for 3 hours. Â It worked out perfectly. Â He held small 'intimate' shows for groups of 3-6 throughout the time, going from table to table, or group to group. Â He is a great entertainer in addition to being an outstanding magician.
