I recently hired Gardens Glorious for a landscaping project, and I must say that my experience was incredibly disappointing. The company exhibited unprofessional behavior and failed to deliver on the promises outlined in our contract. Firstly, their lack of professionalism was evident throughout the project. They consistently showed a lack of punctuality and failed to communicate effectively. It was frustrating to experience delayed start times and a general lack of responsiveness to inquiries. Furthermore, the work performed by Gardens Glorious did not align with what was agreed upon in the contract. The quality of their workmanship was subpar, with numerous mistakes and shortcuts taken. It's disheartening to see a company disregard the agreed specifications and deliver work that falls far below expectations. To make matters worse, instead of providing proper on-site supervision, the company relied on supervising their employees over FaceTime. This approach is inadequate and resulted in further mistakes and miscommunication. It is unprofessional and shows a lack of commitment to delivering quality service. When attempting to address these issues, the company's response was shockingly dismissive. They responded with an arrogant attitude, stating, "Take me to court," and abruptly hanging up on me. Such behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering hiring Gardens Glorious to think twice. Based on my experience, they lack professionalism, fail to fulfill their contractual obligations, and demonstrate an unwillingness to address customer concerns. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale and encourages the company to improve their practices. I can’t say enough about Gardens Glorious. They came and transformed my balcony, which was a mess from the winter months. I had problems with birds coming on my balcony and it just wasn’t an inviting living space anymore . Christine and her staff did a clean-up, power washed my balcony, laid turf along and installed hanging baskets along my balcony - which will bloom soon. She gave me all the instructions on how to care for the flowers. In addition, I had some led lights I wanted to put up and they did it for me, which was a nice treat. Great! Christine was amazing and her team was too.

They showed up when they said and upon inspection of the job and confirmed exactly what I wanted, Christine revised her quote (better for the customer). That was nice, especially in these times where everything is so expensive.

Crew was on time and worked very hard.

Very unprofessional company. Christine is very rude and the landscapers are not trained whatsoever. I am a neighbour of a senior who hired this company and not only did they weedwack all of her day lilies in her garden and the debris were hitting my back door, they destroyed my grass on the side of the house on my property weedwacking it to dirt. I called the company and spoke to Christine, and she refused to replace the glass, she said grass grows back and we can take her to court as she’s not replacing it. Funny but I didn’t ask for the services of this company and yet, my property was weedwacked. I will be contacting CFTO News and sending details to Consumer Alert. What a shame. More...

This is a fantastic company they go over and above make sure that everything is done properly they won’t leave your property until everything’s done I highly highly recommend them! I’ll never hire this company again. Christine and her crew only cared about getting paid to jump to the next job even before completing the job at hand. She threatened to call the police and accusing us of stealing the material (very loudly and aggressively) when we refused to pay here before the job is finished. They needed 6 more stone bags to finish the job to cover the digging they did (funny thing that she tried to claim that we extended the project scope at the end, how would we do that when her crew did all the digging) After a few minutes of very loud accusations of us “stealing her material”, she realized that we’ll never pay her for unfinished job so she asked someone from her crew to go buy the remaining 6 stone bags and finish the job, they brought different kind of stone which looks awful. At the end, I paid her with eTransfer as she asked and I sent her a screenshot of the transfer and the confirmation number but it took a bit longer for the money to reach her bank account and she thought I’m faking the payment so she decided to wait in her truck in front of my house until she receives the money (can’t blame her for that) but after 15 minutes she texted me that she’s still waiting for the money and threatened again to call the police and drop all the debris in my front-yard. A few minutes later she received the money. The job quality is not great but I would probably not be as disappointed if she handled that in a professional way. Christine and her crew were amazing. Very professional and prompt. They did a great job on refreshing my gardens, she gave me many choices to pick from after I mentioned what I was looking for. After the crew cleaned my gardens and waited for Christine to return with the new plants they even weeded around my yard and even worked up the soil in a couple of smaller gardens which was so kind of them to do. You came to our backyard and prepared our raised vegetable garden so that it was ready for planting just in time before the rainfall and also weeded and set up our perennial garden around the perimeter of our yard in such an amazing way - no more weeds and added mulch everywhere! We could not have asked for a better company or service, your team worked hard and was professional and you walked through the project before and Andy walked through the project at the end. You even ensured you covered our driveway so you could move your tools and cleaned up the entire space afterwards. Unfavourable experience. I spoke with Christine in April, when we agreed on a date and pricing. As I received no follow up several weeks prior to the committed date as promised, I called today to confirm that her team was coming over tomorrow, only to receive a very curt, "you cancelled". I did no such thing and sent her screenshots of our texts to prove that. She mentioned that the miscommunication was an office error. I understand that, but it's her defensive and impatient attitude which needs fixing. She suggested I contact other landscaping companies. Wow. Instead of trying to secure my business, she discouraged it. Who does that? Very unprofessional and rude. She always seemed impatient and in a hurry, as if there were more important clients she must attend to. If you're running a service industry, you are expected to treat every customer as important and valuable. I learned this in my 43 years as a flight attendant. Obviously she hasn't. PLEASE STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! Christine, is very unprofessional and very rude. I would suggest you hire a reliable and reputable landscaper, instead of the trashy hack who calls herself a professional. A week after application of mulch weeds appeared. She promised fabric underlay and adequate mulch... but when questioned about the job she hung up on me. The pictures show her workmanship... What a joke. Very knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns

Completely rude and unprofessional. she visited the site and gave a lump sum price. Did not power wash the areas she agreed on, Missed a lot of areas, did not complete the polymeric sand of all the areas she agreed on and Did not finish the trimming and weeding as agreed on. we had to call her back multiple times. She promised to complete everything after she gets paid. After she was completely paid, her answer back was: "i will not give any more labour hours or product, you got your Money's worth in labour and product. you need more polymeric sand. we cannot tell how deep each crack goes. your husband said he can do better. Allow him to do it. ". she power washed the interlock area and needed to put polymeric sand in the joints that she cleaned, what cracks is she talking about? she has no clue what she is doing. the lady she used to trim the plants was great. We are very sorry you are unhappy. We were there to remove weeds and fill with poly. I think you expected us to clean the actual brick you had not paid for that service. I had to actually call you as you were away for entire project. Your gardens were for with care and speed. You then turned around and asked us to remove more plants which we did for you. And yes I was already at my Max hours for your project so I was not going to allocate more for you. Again we Apologize you were not happy with the job.
