Marco is an excellent trainer who pushes you hard and widens your knowledge and skills. His enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism has greatly encouraged me to achieve my goals and go even further. I quickly benefited from his sessions seeing an increase in strength that I had been unable to achieve on my own in the gym. After being hit by a car in 2002 leaving me with a brain injury and partially paralysed on my left side, my personal training with Marco at Galvan Physical Therapy has been essential on the road to full recovery. His approach to functional training as well as the neuromuscular massage techniques he has implemented have transformed the way I am able to move and vastly improved the quality of my life. I have been personal training and and receiving sport massage with Marco on and off for over 3 years now. His attention to detail for functional and efficient biomechanics alongside his understanding of anatomy has hugely improved my ability to move and perform. We have worked closely to improve the posture of my spine as I am predominantly sedentary at work while rehabilitating repetitive shoulder and elbow injuries. Firstly a thorough needs analysis is needed. My clients fill out an in depth online consultation form for me to understand specific goals and requirements. I then get straight to work on devising an individualised plan based on the information provided.

My step by step process includes:
1. Creating accountability around daily activity and sleep patterns and then optimise them, through any readily available tracking software (Apple Health, Android Health, Fitbit, Garmin)

2. Formally agreeing on 1-1 training frequency and introducing curated weekly training sessions for weekly practice.

3. Creating accountability and optimising daily nutrition patterns, through calorie intake and macro split principles by Food tracking through MyFitnessPal or a weekly log whilst introducing daily meal plans.

4. Introducing positive lifestyle habits and phasing out sub-optimal habits gradually and progressively, using 3 step Duhigg method:

1. Cue - The need to change.
2. Behaviour/Action - The action required to change.
3. Reward - The positive rewards of the change.

5. Keeping this process consistent, until it becomes second nature and a necessary part of daily life!

Weekly 1-1 online training sessions. We work as hard as you do on your training and nutrition, providing unlimited contact and amendments throughout your training journey. I guide you on how to build and maintain a healthy level of muscle and also specialise in reducing fat percentage. Exercise programs designed uniquely to your current ability, fitness levels and circumstances which can be geared towards postural integration, injury and rehabilitation also.

I devise nutrition plans to your specific requirements. I combine calorie deficit/surplus (dependant on your goals) alongside fasting protocols. A tried and tested method to improve recovery, body composition and all round health.
