I had the absolute pleasure of staying here on Sunday/Monday. My daughter and l had the most fantastic time. From entering the door we were treated like royalty by every single member of staff. The ambience throughout was sheer luxury. We had a wonderful afternoon tea. We ate in Fratelli's at night and it too was fabulous! Such precious memories made! Thank you to all the staff! Wow. Fantastic experience. The thermal spa experience was brilliant. We went in December when it was freezing outside but but sat out in the jacuzzi and visited the saunas, it was amazing. Our evening dinner was great with entertainment afterwards. A perfect end to a great day. The hot chocolate with the candy sticks was a lovely festive touch. Amazing, the gentlemen at the entrance make it a great experience as soon as you arrive. Staff treat you very well and tend to your needs. This place is the most amazing place! My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and we were looked after like royalty. We stayed in a deluxe suite, had the most amazing spa treatments (which I didn't think I'd enjoy but did immensely), spent some time in a hot tub by the river, ate a phenomenal mean then danced the night away in the bar! From the moment we arrived until we left we were so well looked after and the location and the grounds are phenomenal! In our room there was a card for our anniversary and chocolates. They are adding more over the next few years and it all looks very exciting. We'll be going back for sure! Regularly I hope. This place has it all! An expensive getaway which has everything you could ask for. With the deluxe package, we had the chance to see the deluxe rooms and have extra treatments within the spa facilities. The room was amazing and the place itself had an amazing relaxation feel to it all. The serenity gardens acted as a perfect little walk away from the thermal village. In the evening it was less busy, if recommend going then! The treatments offered are varied and well worth the price - the Celtic sauna ritual was fantastic! I attended the spa at Galgorm resort and spa and it was a lovely experience. The thermal village was beautiful and had a great variety of amenities. There were several types of pools and saunas and it was fun to experiment with which one you enjoyed the most. If I went back to this area, I would try to visit the spa again. More...

Had a fantastic time after a lot of stress & anxiety with our booking. Although there are staff on the reception they don't answer the phone On arrival the doormen were fab, Maurice was so welcoming- it was lovely. Our bedroom was great, tea was good. Went for my birthday on the spa and lunch deal. Amazing day. Spa facilities are varied between cold and hot, indoors and outdoors. Staff at the spa are very professional and looked after us well. Lunch however was okay but very inattentive staff. Felt like we were burden because we had a voucher. Once we got their attention it was good and the food was good enough. An amazing place to stay - a little out of Belfast, but worth the travel. We stayed in the new part of the hotel and it was excellent. Just above the spa. In fairness spent most of our time down there! Great facilities to use and then having the few locations to enjoy some food & drink is great. The food is also amazing! Another fantastic mid-week break in my favourite Hotel. Enjoyed the stay with my two daughters. It was my youngest daughters 30th birthday. I had sent balloons and banners for the room and asked that they were put up as a surprise. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff as usual were so helpful. Absolutely amazing place. Don't be fooled by the location, once you're there, you're completely cut off from the outside world, and it's for the better. The spa is next to none. Make sure and pre-book the Riverside hot tubs at around £80. 1hr private hot tub with Champagne and truffles, well worth it. We had an excellent meal at Gillies yesterday one of my favourite places to eat.The only downside was the attitude of the duty manager who was extremely rude and patronising.
When we ordered our food we requested a wine list.Our food arrived and we requested the wine list again.Half way through our food we requested wine list again which came.We ordered and wine finally arrived when we had finished our meal so we sent it back.
We where then confronted by duty manager who waved a till receipt at us and asserted that it had only been ordered 3 minutes ago.She then proceeded to scrunch it up in front of us.
She did not ask us what the problem was.
This put a sour note to an otherwise delightful experience.

The Galgorm resort and spa has developed greatly over the last 7 years from a Small hotel to a highly extensive resort with thermal village and spa facilities the resort is of a high standard and provide, when offers are available great value for money. I would highly recommend these facilities for anyone wanting a short stay or spa facilities. The resort has been extensively added to and there are continuing plan to further develop the site. Stayed here on several occasions. Superb hotel in large landscaped grounds and with the Maine river flowing through. Hotel is very comfortable, service is excellent, and all staff are friendly and pleasant at all times. A variety of superb restaurants, from the River Room restaurant providing fine dining, an Italian restaurant, and Gilles bar and restaurant. Nice bar with a few teles to watch the football. £8 a coctail and £4.50 a pint. Good sized beer garden and nibbles available. Great place for a sunny day.
