Having recently written a 5Star Review I didn’t think I would be writing another so quickly! My 44 year old boiler failed just before Christmas. . My children, son in law and young grandchildren were all due to spend the holiday with me – but couldn’t if I had no heating. The house was so cold. Gary and Jason rearranged their work schedule to get and fit a new boiler and Jason worked on his Saturday off to help make this possible. Watching them work made me realise just what specialists they both are in their field. How fortunate I have been to find a company so professional, so experienced, so helpful and so reliable. I’ve taken out an extended warranty with “Glow-Worm” because I am reassured that GA and Gary will do the annual servicing required. They saved my Christmas – if I could give more than a 5 star rating I definitely would. No one with a plumbing or heating problem could find anyone better than GA Plumbing and Heating! More...

Having no one else to turn to I sought a local plumber and found Gary's company close to home. He came and replaced my immersion heater - which was over 30 years old and had failed. He also installed a fused switch - which current regulations insist on. Gary explained what he was doing and the work was carried out to a high standard and quickly. I won't be looking further if I need a plumber again as I would highly recommend GA and Gary as the best St Albans plumber to contact who doesn't charge the earth! More...

Gary came in through a builder to my house to fit a boiler. The job with the builder went wrong, and the boiler was not finished properly when the builder was fired. Contacted Gary on the basis of previous reviews. Arranged appointment a week in advance. Checked with him the night before but he said he had fitted in another job before in Stevenage. Said he would be with us at 1pm and we should turn the boiler off for him in advance. At 6.30pm we turned it on again as we were very cold. The cause of the problem wasn't obvious but Gary methodically tried everything until he tracked down the cause of the problem & fixed it. Contacted Gary today after our Worcester Combi Boiler boiler decided to stop working and wouldn't reset despite all the usual troubleshooting.
Temperatures outside were -2 today and we had no heating or hot water.
Despite being super busy, Gary came out and got to the root of the problem pretty quickly. He and his team were prompt, efficient, honest and straight to the point and above all didn't charge me ridiculous rates. Great job and will be my first choice plumber from now on.
