We've tried the daycare option for a couple weeks now and have consistently had good experiences. Before we got our golden retriever pup we stopped in unexpectedly just to ask some questions and were instantly offered a tour. Love that the dogs are in small groups with good supervision and that they get routine rest time in their own kennel between playing. This was very different from other facilities we toured where 20-30 dogs are all in one big play area for the day and was a key factor in our decision. I liked that they can take dogs with varying needs from pups to older dogs, social and non-social, and was really impressed that they don't allow leash greetings in the lobby. I had a few dogs that weren't cool with leashed greetings so I was impressed they called that out. All of this just told me the staff really understand dogs and dog behavior. Now that we have our dog, the service is just very personal. Staff always greet us at drop off, and it's clear they're prepared and expecting us. On day one, our pup had an accident on her blanket and they even laundered it for us. Drop off and pick up is quick and efficient. Requesting a reservation is very easy, and I generally get a response on confirmation in about an 30-60 minutes of placing a request (guessing that varies on timing. Probably takes a bit longer if you're requesting during peak pick up or drop off times). Very convenient location too, right off 494 and Minnetonka Blvd. Best of all, our pup really likes going. My dog loves going to Fusion for doggie daycare! The staff is so nice and they always are excited to see my big pup. The fees are reasonable and its conveniently located off of my commute on 494.

Fusion Pet Retreat to the rescue!My dog has separation anxiety and started to destroy his cage, himself, and our home.  We decided to do doggy daycare during the day to deal with this until we get things worked out.  We initially started with another facility that has 20-25 dogs in a room together for free play all day.  My dog did well for a few weeks, but he ended up going after a dog unprovoked.  At this point that facility said he couldn't come back.  I was so worried that no other daycares would take him.  The original daycare recommended Fusion as an option for us.  They are more expensive, but they took their time with him and found a specific group of dogs that he is compatible with for play time.  They also only play for small amounts of time so he doesn't get overstimulated.  I am so glad this place exists for dogs that may not be able to handle most dog daycare environments. My now 2 year old Doodle has been going to Fusion for regular daycare since she was 10 weeks old, and my cats have boarded there several times as well. In our time with Fusion I have seen nothing but upstanding love, compassion, and care for my dog and cats.I myself have worked at other daycare facilities and I can confidently say that I have never seen a cleaner facility, or one that trains their staff in the art of the mammal as extensively as Fusion staff is trained.I wouldn't trust my animals at any other facility, and find that it's well worth the price to know your pet is somewhere where they are loved and taken care of. Hands down the nicest and most professional kennel team around. Convenient location too. Regular updates on my pup including pictures some days, friendly phone calls, clear details, friendly staff, and my dog was very happy to return here for the 2nd time. Recommend giving them a try!

Very friendly staff! They were welcoming when we brought our beagle there for the first time. When I picked him up, they knew exactly which dog I was there to pick up and one of the employees spoke as if she'd clearly spent time with him during his stay. The only hesitation to boarding my dog at Fusion again is the price. It is more expensive than other comparable kennels of the type - but I've never felt there was a personal connection between staff and my dog at other places. More...

Love this place! Friendly helpful staff. Called and got updates. Got a prompt call when my baby tore up his bed. So glad they give prompt updates, great line of communication. Staff that worked with him, I could tell when I picked him up, he knew them and they were friends to him which is key. I love that they gage your pet and how well they get along with others when putting them in groups! Ease and peace of mind knowing that. This will be our place to kennel from now on! More...

We regularly use this facility fir our 5 month old lab retriever. The facility is super nice and they have nice people who take good care of your furry friend. Upon that they have groupon discounts that make this place more affordable. Our pup just loves to be here and we are less anxious than before about leaving our pup while on vacation. I've been bringing my yellow lab puppy to Fusion Pet Retreat since he was just a couple months old (he is now 4 months old). I initially took a tour and was impressed with the facility. It is clean and well laid out. They thought of everything and really cater to pets of all ages. My puppy attends doggy daycare a few times a week and he just loves it. He can't wait to get through the doors to receive his belly rubs and attention from all the staff. He comes home happy and worn out, but not exhausted. Going to daycare really helps work out his energy (which is generally boundless). I've also started Puppy Kindergarten with him. The training facility is impressive! The agility course is huge and there are training areas for several classes at a time. I would like to keep going to classes and progress to make it through the Canine Good Citizen test. Overall, I am very impressed with Fusion Pet Retreat! My puppy gives it two paws up! More...

This place is pretty new and really huge. Not only do they board dogs and cats, but bunnies and other small mammals. The space is bright, clean, and fresh. The staff offer grooming services, obedience training, and canine spa services like massages. The front desk area houses a retail area with foods, treats, toys. We board our dogs here and my only complaint is I wish they had a webcam so I could check in on my poochies. The boarding rooms are generous and dogs from the same family can room together. The cat play area is used for one cat at a time, unless they are family, to avoid fights. The outdoor and indoor dog play areas are spacious and no more than 10 dogs are in the play area at once, to avoid overcrowding and fighting. Dogs are rested after a half hour of play, perfect for dogs that really wear themselves out in playtime. My mini doxie has epilepsy and I like knowing a vet tech administers his medication. They are very thorough when ensuring they know your exact feeding instructions, meds, and any other personal requests to make your pets feel at home. More...
