Hercules my Toy Poodle is part of the Furry Tail Family pretty much since we moved to New York, we are living 2 Blocks away so it's very convenient for us! We've been welcomed right away and invited to Birthday Parties and other Events! Everybody is super friendly and inclusive!Currently I bring Hercules mostly for Grooming and he always stays the whole day! I appreciate the flexibility and that the team always try's to accommodate my needs.Since he is very sensitive and for sure not the easiest Daycare member since he gets rather anxious with other dogs. He stays mostly in the room with the Nappers, the lazy gang all low energy and this is perfect for him. He could not survive where he would not be treated due to his special personality with special care.Hercules is tricky to take on walks - but they are always so sweet and still try to get him a bit outside.Till now I was always happy with the way he looked when I got him back after grooming. We discuss very clear what I want and he always looks super cute!It's very personal and the hours are great! I'm so thankful to have found Furry Tails! I take my puppy to them for day care 2-4 days a week, and she gets so excited to every time we walk in the door. The owner and staff are all great, and I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby with them. It feels very personal. They know which doggies are playmates and which rooms are best for each one. They also have live webcams (for everyone! no extra fee), so I can watch the cute playing, sleeping, etc. that goes on. Sometimes when I come to pick her up she's the last one there, and inevitably, she's hanging out and getting cuddles at the front desk.I don't live anywhere near Furry Tails (sadly), but it's still the only place I take my little one! Furry Tails is by far the best part of my puppy's day! The staff is always so attentive and truly cares for each dog in their care. Web cams allow me to see how much fun my dog is having throughout the day and a great way for me to see how her social skills progress with other dogs! It's the best! My pups had two visits there for day care and so far so good. It's super close to my apartment which makes drop off easy and they have 8pm pick up so I don't have to rush around town to pick him up. The owner is great and they don't even need a reservation. I can bring him when I need to and they run my card. Five stars for service, convenience and for my pup coming home exhausted! More...

I have been going to Furry Tails for quite some time for Chloe's grooming needs.  They are great.  The best thing though is I wanted to have a birthday party for Chloe and Belen of Furry Tails and Mei-I Zien of Mason de pawz put the entire thing together for me at a very reasonable price.  The food was great for us humans and the dog cake and pup cakes for the pooches were fantastic.  Gluten free for the babies, but by the way they gobbled everything down you would have never known.  I already have several of my friends wanting to order the pup cakes just as a treat for the best friends.  It was a really good way to get together with friends and watch the dogs running around together.  If you have a best friend, and friends who have best friends, you should check it out. We love Furry Tails! We just moved to the area and the first thing I did was find a new daycare for our 2 dogs. Furry Tails had excellent reviews and they have lived up to those standards! I've been taking my puppy here from age two months and Furry Tails has been a huge role in her development and socialization.  In fact, she just celebrated her first birthday there last week!     Furry Tails' owner, staff, and dogs have become a second family for my pup.  So much so that she practically walks herself there every morning.  I can see how much fun she is having thanks to their puppy cams available for viewing via a mobile app.  Furry Tails is a very well run business balanced by efficiency and loving care.  A life saver for any dog owners on the UES! We had the privilege to be living close to Furry Tails. Leelo is our first dog and we basically treat him as a family member. We started using Furry Tails for a couple hours of play date every Saturday. The fact that they have live cameras really helped with our anxiety. We spent the first few weekends glued to the app watching him play with his. now best buddies. We eventually asked Belen and Furry Tails to take care of Leelo for a full day. He has such a good time there that whenever we are walking by Furry Tails, he sprints to their door. Leelo is now on a monthly package which is quite affordable if you consider the neighborhood. We trust Leelo with Furry Tails every day and they do not disappoint. We never had a problem with him. He gets home exhausted from play time and behaves much better at home. We have also used their grooming services and I don't know what type of perfume or powder do they use that is so good that he always come home smelling like he spent the day in a lavender field. After a full day at Furry Tails, my dog Cody has to be coaxed and bribed to leave! Even after a block away, he tugs to go back. The owner, Belen has a wonderful way with dogs, as does her staff. Cody enjoys being appreciated for who he is, while being guided to get along with other dogs in an encouraging environment. When Cody needs less stimulation there are places where he can be placed to accommodate that. Furry Tails is a bright, open, very clean and cheerful place with vibrant but stable energy. It is in an awesome, location. The hours and days that Furry Tails is open is conducive to the demands of a professional's work schedule. The PuppyCam allows me to stay in touch with my dog throughout the time he is there -- I love that. Of course, if Furry Tails was open 24/7, well, then it would be absolutely perfect, now wouldn't it! But, seriously, as someone who works long hours with a demanding schedule, my dog and I couldn't feel more supported by Belen and her Furry Tails. This is a happy, feel-good place! More...

Furry Tails is such an amazing doggie daycare. I am a very over protective pet mom and have very high standards for where I leave my pup. Belen, the owner, and her entire staff are phenomenal. They know every dog inside and out. They are so loving and caring. The daycare is very clean and well taken care of. There are 3 rooms for the dogs to be placed, depending on size, temperament etc...I also love that they have a doggie cam. We love Furry Tails! The owner & the staff are really responsive and caring.They know our dog extremely well and separate him if he's being naughty. He gets a ton of human love, even naps in laps! Furry Tails is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend them highly enough! My Furry Tails adventure actually started before I picked up my puppy. I walked in to check it out for the first time after reading very positive reviews online three months ago. The owner, Belen, was there to greet me and answered every question I had regarding the puppy I was about to bring home. From that point, Belen and the Furry Tails team (who are all awesome btw) have been critical in  Olive's growth and development. Furry Tails is the ONLY doggy day care facility that I feel comfortable leaving Olive in for any length of time. Not only do they take special care of her, they make sure she has other puppies her age to play with and provide nonstop oversight to make sure they are playing well together. Olive now has a best friend named Penny who I think she would rather hang out with than me. Recently, I had to travel away from NYC and thankfully Furry Tails has videocameras installed so I could easily check in and see how Olive was doing. Belen even sent me emails while I was away to keep me updated. I am beyond happy with my experience at Furry Tails. Best doggie daycare on the UES! Worth every penny. We send our puppy, Hercules, to Furry Tails and it's the best decision we have ever made. Our puppy drags us to daycare every morning, and comes home exhausted every night, so I know he loves it and is well cared for during his stay. The facility is super clean and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about their little clients. Fantastic daycare! Furry Tails has been such a life-saver for the times we've needed to leave our dog, Mabel, all day. Belen and her staff are so friendly and take such great care of the dogs. They really take the time to know their clients and give lots of attention to each dog. This is my first Yelp review, and I don't always write reviews for any place or anyone unless I'm extremely satisfied or very unhappy. With Furry Tails, I'm extremely satisfied. My dog has been going to daycare and grooming there since he was 6 months old. He's almost 2 yrs old. They are very attentive to his needs, know his habits, and always remember him. My dog gets VIP treatment, and I can tell they always take very good care of him from the way he treats them back with kisses and plenty of dog licks. They are also lifesavers especially when I work long hours. Rest assured they will take my dog home and keep him safe. Furry Tails is a definite gem to the neighborhood. Kind, gentle, & caring. My dog is recently blind, and had an enucleation this past February. I was very nervous & anxious about having him groomed for the first time post surgery, but the staff at Furry Tails were kind, understanding, & accommodating. The groomer treated my dog with extra special care and gave him countless kisses on the head! I was able to schedule the first appointment of the day and they had him in & out in under two hours. The groomer is one of the kindest women I have ever met! His cut was to my specifications and my pooch looks so handsome & dapper now. I highly recommend Furry Tails. :) More...

Furry Tails is a great daycare! I have problem dogs and they have no problems here. My pups problems aren't with other dogs, so they aren't a danger to others. My younger dog - 12 years old - is in a wheelchair (or a scoot sack depending), needs to be physically expressed to pee and needs to take medication as well. No other daycare will touch her, they think she needs to go to vets. The owner has had a paralyzed dog and understands the care needed with paralyzed dogs. I feel so great about leaving my pups here for half days so I can get some work done or do errands (my paralyzed girl also has separation anxiety) and not worry about my pup barking her head off! My older girl - 15 years old - is a rescue with some handling issues. The staff at Furry Tails has been so great with her even though she has bit them (again, she's fine with other dogs just not with people touching her sides and rear). I know she's not the easiest camper but the staff are so nice to her - she will give you tons of kisses once she's picked up! I am so grateful to have found Furry Paws and it's pretty much my only regret about leaving the UES for downtown this summer. This is the best doggy daycare! My review relates to daycare (not grooming).  My dog LOVES coming here.  He has gone to doggie daycare before, but he never pulled me from two blocks away to get there!  When he arrives, he is almost as happy to see the staff as he is to see me when i come home from a long day of work.  Without a backward glance, he runs off to play!  He can be very attached to me and shy at first, so it is really great to see him have such a positive reaction.  I love that they are flexible- no appointments needed.  The facility is clean and the staff is beyond courteous.  You can tell that they all really love dogs.  There are various events at the daycare throughout the year- you can tell this is not only a business, they are building a community.  Great addition to the neighborhood! I absolutely love this addition to our neighborhood. I have been going there since they opened, and now I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is great, and the price is right. Best of all, the groomer really listens! I have a Pomeranian, and the tendency can be to cut their fur very short. However, I like to keep my pup's coat long, and they are always accommodating. Our mini goldendoodle looks beautiful. I couldn't stop saying that when the groomer brought him out. While his hair is very short, the groomer knew what he was doing and made our Bailey looks very handsome. Hands down, the best place in Manhattan to take my dog. I loved our doggy care in park slope and was sad and scared to try a new place in the city when we moved. I was AMAZED as I walked in! I have been taking my beagle-mix Doodle since Furry Tails opened around the end of 2014.  He's been getting grooming and day care services.  My partner and I have been very happy with the care he gets there.  I have recommended their services to other friends, who have also been very happy.  Doodle has been in day care at other places including Biscuits and Bath and also the former NY Dog Spa on 91st (closed in May 2014) and I can say their services are on par with these other places. Furry Tails is a great addition to the neighborhood.  We have been bringing our pup for 5 months and he always has the best time.  The team is terrific, down to earth, and they truly love dogs.  It has a small boutique feel as opposed to some other franchises.  The level of care and attention is top notch.  Every day there is a report card to keep the parents posted on how the day went.  Also, one week our pup was not there and they called to check in and see how he was doing and when he would be back.  It meant a lot.Furry Tails has helped to socialize our puppy and he has met some great friends!  They also do a great job with social media and posting pictures on Facebook.  Furry Tails has provided us with such peace of mind, we are grateful! Really clean space with really friendly staff. A huge plus for me is; it's right on my street. The groomer is great, patiently listens to every request before hand and follows through. I've been to places on the UES where they're always in such a raging hurry, they hardly have the time to listen to what you say. The bottom line is Furry Tails is a wonderful place to bring your dog. It is clean and intimate...no huge number of dogs packed into a drab space (like some other places nearby that shall remain nameless). The best thing about Furry Tails are the people who work there. They are all as nice as can be and they truly love dogs. My dog loves it so much that she pulls me to its door when we get close. Still I have mixed feelings raving about Furry Tails. It just opened and is such a treasure that I worry about it becoming overexposed. So if you have a nice dog, you should definitely bring them there. My dog, Lola, turns her back on me when we arrive - she is that happy to be there! They get it right - from a rooms to play in, to frequent walks, to human and Canine interaction.
