I am a Personal Trainer and Occupational Therapist with over 25yrs experience; who works with adults of all ages. I have an enthusiasm and passion for empowering people to achieve their goals in life. Whether thats wanting to get healthier, fitter, or stronger. I can help you regain independence in daily tasks, improve your stamina, endurance, balance, strength and range of movement. Maybe you have a specific challenge like walking or running a Marathon! for a loved one or charity. No matter what your Goal is I am sure I can help you get there.

Exercise is about what you enjoy - it doesn't have to be standard gym workouts. It can be so much more and I have the skills and knowledge to show you. I trained with YMCAfit and now have my own 1-1 training, (or train with a buddy or small group of friends). I utilise my in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, health conditions and nutrition in my Personal Training, to help my clients build a positive, balanced and healthy physical and nutritional lifestyle. I work with clients in their own homes, outdoors, gym or in a private studio. It is entirely up to you and of course we can mix it up. I have a full range of equipment that I can bring to you.
Together we will find your likes, build them into a graded programme so that you come away accomplished, happy and seeing the results week on week.

I offer a free consultation to discuss your goals and needs and how a fitness and nutrition programme can help you get there. I can visit you at home or work or alternatively you can come to me. There is no pressure for you to decide then and there - you have to feel that I am the right Personal Trainer for you. I believe in positive encouragement and reinforcement and have found this to be the most rewarding way to help others and for us to build a healthy rapport. Its your journey and I will support you throughout it.
I will carry out a full fitness test before we start to look at any current health conditions that will impact on how we plan your sessions. This is not only to optimize the activities for you but to make sure any risk areas are addressed and therefore goal setting is achieveable and the programme is sustainable.
Ultimately I plan for you to have fun and enjoy your journey to improved health and reaching that goal!
