I have just completed a 4 week program with Karl and I have to say his workouts were so good. They have really given me a new energy for training. I always find Karl really helpful and supportive, with an amazing knowledge. I have had other personal trainers but this program feels like it’s better tailored to my own personal goals and not just given to every client no matter what their training goals are. I have been using Nexus Physiques online coaching for 2 months now and my results have been incredible. Karl is a great coach, easy to talk to about goals and preferences and he has an abundance of knowledge and passion for his clients. He assigns my workouts to the Nexus Physiques app which I love, it’s easy to use and great to track my progression and monitor my nutrition. Having a programme to follow has really boosted my confidence in the gym and enables me to push myself, whilst having Karl monitoring my efforts has motivated me to remain consistent. I have been working with Karl for a few months now and I cannot recommend him enough! I have had other personal trainers in the past but his enthusiasm, knowledge and drive doesn't come close to the others I have had personally. I am currently training for the military and can now pass all the fitness tests comfortably especially the key areas of upper body of which I couldn't achieve before. Every session is emotional and hard work but each time I get encouraged and pushed mentally and physically past my own barriers and have become more confident in my appearance and ability. As well as having various PT sessions monthly, Karl assesses my results for my military assessments, tracks my progress with photos and measurements and looks over my nutrition and constantly updates these areas for my development. If your looking for a personal trainer that goes the extra mile, is friendly and inspirational then Karl is your man no matter your fitness goal! More...

I have been training with Karl for almost six months. He is knowledgeable, professional and committed. We started by focussing on very specific personal goals. I am always reassured I can be open and honest about what I need from the training however trivial it may seem to me.
Given the nature of my job and working hours, Karl has always been flexible and mindful to the day I may have had prior to a session. Don’t be fooled though, a session with him not an easy one by far. He pushes me each and every time not just to do the exercise but to understand why I'm doing it and how it relates to my goal.
My fitness and core strength has increased noticeably, I lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session. Each session is varied , challenging and I always come away feeling like I've worked out and even more so the following day! Karl is continually working on how to take the training to the next level and progress further.
I have learnt so much in my short time with him and encouraged me to take charge my own health and fitness. He continually monitors my nutrition whilst providing tailored advice for my lifestyle. It’s great to see a trainer taking a holistic approach.
If you’re serious about your training goals, then I can’t recommend Karl enough.

Best personal training out there! Karl and his team are personally invested in making sure I am sticking to my goals throughout the training. He is very clear on the objectives and what to expect ahead of time. He is very meticulous with details and takes the time to explain the movements and its effect on your muscles. Karl at Nexus Physiques has totally changed my approach to training. I've never done any planned training before so having someone that understood where I was and where I wanted to get to was important. After nearly two months of working with Karl I've already seen gains, I'm enjoying my eating more and also get plenty of encouragement! Saying this tho, he is not a push over....he will make you work hard....and watch out for leg day!!! he loves training legs. Totally recommend this guy! More...

I have come form a background where i was not healthy.
Back in 2011 i was 22.5 stone, i was depressed and comfort eating was my thing. food made me happy.
I was diagnosed with intracranial hypertension and had to lose the weight, i lose 7.5 stone in a year dropping my body fat down to safe levels and found i loved helping others do the same, i know first had what its like to have to lose the wight while sitting all day (i was a truck driver).
I am now full qualifies trainer and doing my level 4 in Strength and Conditioning.
I am here to help anyone that needs it achieve there goals like a achieved mine
