We live in Hampshire but when we visit Edinburgh we always make a point of visiting Cuckoo's, the staff are always extremely polite and very friendly but above that the cakes and sweet treats are amazing! On our last visit we tried a few but my favourite is the black bottom cheesecake ! Only wish we lived closer so we could try some different varieties!! Already looking forward to our next visit hoping to time it when you have the big dippers!!!! More...

I could not be happier with the service I received from Cuckoos. I ordered Cupcakes for same day delivery. The member of staff I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and helpful. My cupcakes were delivered within the hour! By friendly and cheerful delivery staff.

Of course the cupcakes are beautiful and delicious, especially the mystery cupcakes! All in all I couldn't recommend them more!! More...

I ordered cupcakes online to be delivered to my friend for her birthday who is studying in Edinburgh and I couldn't be happier with my experience! First of all the cupcakes were delivered without any complications and right on time, my friend sent me a picture when they were delivered and they looked absolutely beautiful! Along with this I had forgotten to include a card with my original order so I emailed the shop asking if there was any way to go back and add this in and got a quick reply back saying that they would be happy to add a card to my order and even waived the 1 pound fee for me since my order had already been placed. Awesome customer service really goes a long way, couldn't be happier with my experience ordering with Cuckoos!! :) More...

I’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed the cupcakes, lunches, and kind waitstaff. My recent lunch with a friend was made even better by the person who served us, Erin, because she was so gracious and didn’t even mind that we lingered at our table for ages.

We ordered 3 celebration cakes for our wedding reception as an alternative to a traditional tiered wedding cake. It was one of the best decisions we made. Amazing!! Went here for my parents-in-laws anniversary. Been trying to find somewhere that is gluten free but not boring!! And let me tell you, this place is not boring. We got a gluten free Banana & Salted Caramel Cake and it was delicious! So many guests couldn't believe it was gluten free. So it was a winner. Be hard pushed to find a better scone in the Bruntsfield area (fruit or savoury - the apple crumble or bacon & brie are current favs) than from this little place.
