Frey is the absolute best when it comes to a small business that's really part of it's community. I grew up in the neighborhood, so now, even living further afield, Frey Florist is still the only one for me. In April, 2019, I asked Frey Florist to do the flowers for my wedding, and I only contacted them with about three weeks lead time. It wasn't a large order, but they still accomodated me and made the process super easy and the results very special. I did phone and email consultations with Sarah, who understood what I wanted and made it come to life. When she was unsatisfied with the quality of one of the types of flowers they ordered for my bouquests, they essentially upgraded me to ensure it was good. I've never had a bad experience at Frey's, and this particularly special time was another great one. More...

Received a bouquet yesterday from Frey. The amount of blossoms in this bousquet was so generous that I was actually able to make four separate arrangements and put flowers in every room. Additionally my friend who ordered the flowers called from London. Frey could have been less than generous since my friend would have had little recourse. Â Well I don't know what the budget wise, receiving a bouquet with 8+ Lillys not yet bloomed, I have a dozen long stem yellow roses, multiple Gerber daisies, and five or six other specimens was above and beyond. The best florist around! I always work with Richard. For my wedding I gave him my budget, told him the different pieces that I needed, and we worked together to choose the most beautiful flowers. Richard, thank you for your amazing customer service! I ordered a bridal bouquet for my cousin's wedding and boutonniere for the groom on Sunday and we are so excited to work with you.
You didn't know this when we dropped in, but we had just had a horrible experience at Jephry floral studio and were feeling a bit disillusioned. You treated us with respect and dignity and ordering with you was easy breezy! We can't wait to order more arrangements form you!

For the last 4 years, while I was studying out of state at Providence College, my boyfriend from home depended heavily on this flower shop to send me flowers when he couldn't deliver them himself. Frey Florist is an example of a place that you only notice if you take your time.
It is a small shop in the middle of a college residential neighborhood.
They are a green haven set in an area of triple deckers and beer can empties.
Their prices are reasonable and the employees passionate about their work. Behind the florist shop is also a local compost Depot with equally passionate science artisans tinkering with compost to come up with viable food waste solutions.
A truly dynamic place exists on Radcliffe, exhibiting all the spirit and potential of the college studentry that surrounds it.
My advice is to be a part of this business as a customer and a student, talk to the owners and employees, even though the prices are affordable, their impact is priceless.

Richard designed and provided the flowers for my rehearsal dinner/welcome party and wedding ceremony and reception. To say I am THRILLED is an understatement. The flowers were incredible - hand picked and arranged in such a beautiful way - from the bridesmaids bouquets, to my own bouquet, to the lush garlands of greenery on the tables - they completely blew me and all of my guests away. They were subtly gorgeous and very understated (while still gorgeous) and the look was fantastic. Richard himself helped me each step of the way and listened to all of my requests. He has a fantastic eye for design and really helped me shape what I thought I wanted with what would actually look awesome. Frey Florist did a gorgeous job on my flowers for my ceremony and reception to my wedding. I was the bride who did not care about floral arrangements at first and did not want to spend a lot. I came here and he helped put together my vision so it made sense and worked great! I am not a florist, so I went to one other florist before him who "yes ma'm" every idea I had--not Frey, he looked at me and told me what would work and what wouldn't---that alone sold me, quality expertise! I can't say enough about the beautiful basket of flowers I ordered for my business partner who lost her mother. I usually do not write reviews but it was these Yelp reviews that helped my to pick Frey when calling from out of state. The owner was extremely helpful and heard very clearly what was important to me. When I got to the wake I was impressed with the beautiful arrangement and  the choice of flowers.
