Finding a photographer with only 7 months to the wedding was a bit of an obstacle but was a blessing in disguise! Photography was the most import aspect for both my husband and I so we really wanted to find a photographer who could truly capture the emotion of the day in pictures. I hired a wedding planner to recommend vendors but after meeting with a handful I was not in love with any of them…then one of the photographers recommended Alexandre and I immediately knew I had to have him when I saw his website. The photos captured such real emotion and seemed to tell such a story through the photos! I am obsessed with every single one of the over 1,600 photos he gave us from our big day (not including our incredible enagement session photos which we all also incredible). We came with a handful of photos we wanted but Alexandre just has an eye for photos and was able to capture natural moments and a few posed ones. Both my husband and myself were initially worried about only having one photographer and not a second shooter but we quickly found out Alexandre is literally a ninja and is simply so talented he doesn’t need a second shooter! I don’t think that he sat down once on our wedding day he captured literally every little detail and moment and worked so incredibly hard! He was never worried about what time only that he captured everything from start to finish for us! Alexandre is genuinely invested in his clients and cares about making your day special! The engagement session was also great so we could all be more comfortable with each other on the wedding day and feel more natural in front od the camera...not to mention the photos are just AMAZING! Some other great things about Alexandre is he would always answer my emails, calls or texts in an incredibly timely manner (which is not something i can say about many of my other vendors)! He was able to direct our crazy opinionated wedding party all day! He helped create the perfect timeline and was all around wonderful! He even coordinated with our videographer to make sure they could both capture the shots they needed!! I cannot speak his praises enough!! All of our wedding party loved him as well!! Alexandre was so wonderful, we could not be more pleased with our photos!! He was so accommodating right from the start when we first met with him. He spent over an hour with us in our first meeting going through a whole album of his photos so we could really get an idea of his work.

He was willing to drive wherever we wanted to go for our engagement session and spent 2 hours with us shooting. He had the photos edited in no time at all, and had SO many for us to choose from. We got so many compliments on our engagement photos which we used for our save the date.

The day of the wedding, Alexandre was with us shooting from 10:30 in the morning until the very end of the reception which went until almost midnight. He was again willing to go wherever he needed to go to take photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready, and my husband his groomsmen getting ready. He did not charge any additional cost for the amount of time he spent with us the day of the wedding, or the engagement shoot, which I know a lot of other photographers do! The photos turned out so amazing and again, he had TONS of photos for us to choose from, categorized by each phase of the wedding day. There were so many candid photos which I loved and I think he literally got a photo of almost every guest and family member. He also had our photos edited within a week and a half after our wedding date! We hired Alex barely 5 months before our wedding date and he handled it with grace. We weren’t the easiest clients, as we really had no idea what we were doing until the day came. He was extremely accommodating to our blended cultures and indecisiveness. I’m not comfortable in front of a camera at all and he quickly learned how to help with that as well. Nothing but positivity for Alex! If Alex is available, do not hesitate to book him!! No brainer! My number 1 most important detail of our wedding was the photographer. I love photography and I didn’t want to skimp on it. Alex was an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end! He is a true artist, very professional and has a passion for taking great photos that you won’t find anywhere else. He comes up with new and different ideas and the results are fantastic. When we had our engagement photo session with him it allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera so that on our wedding day, when the timeline was very tight, we were at ease with Alex. Looking through all of our wedding day photos I am amazed at the amount of coverage Alex was able to get being just one person. He somehow was all over and yet he was discreet to the point that we weren’t even aware he was capturing some of those special moments. And when plans changed at the last minute (sometimes literally) he rolled with it and adapted. He encouraged me to get first look photos with my father (my father was in an accident and we were not sure if he would be at our wedding) that I hadn’t even considered, and I will always treasure those photos and that moment. After we received our photos I have been obsessed with looking at them!! I have looked at all 915 pictures every single day since we got them!! My fiance and I hired Alexandre for our engagement photographs. From our initial contact to the day of shooting he was nothing but courteous, communicative, and responsive to us and our requests. We had an initial conversation to discuss our ideas about the shoot and he took the time to listen and learn about what was important to us. This was entirely evidenced by the final product. His pictures are very "us" and turned out beyond our expectations in perfectly capturing our life and relationship.The day of, we had a great time. Alexandre made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. He was a perfect balance of hands off, but also supportive in providing feedback and suggestions for shots. We really appreciated this about his style of photography. He was extremely prepared and had obviously done alot of pre-work in researching good locations around the area we had suggested. He took the time to get a wide variety and strong quality of pictures. And we really appreciated not feeling rushed or held to a strict time-constraint. Alex is an amazing, talented and natural photographer. Me and my boyfriend have had already two photo shoots with him, one in downtown Rochester, MN and one in the Quarry Hill Park. We got incredible pictures from both sessions. Alex is French and is an energetic, sweet, cheerful young man. Our sessions were spontaneous and a lot of fun. I also recommended him to a friend of mine who wanted to have pictures of her 2 little kids taken. She told me he had connected naturally with her kids and they just adored him. I bet not only for his charismatic French accent. She told me he was patient and let the kids lead the shoots, which turned into very natural pictures. In a nutshell, Alex is just awesome!
