We can’t thank the team at Freedom Homes who have helped us see our forever dream home plans get to the construction stage. To turn our 2 bedroom property into 5 bedrooms with a bathroom and 2 shower rooms. New extension on the back of our property which doubles the footprint of our property and loft conversion which includes shower room dressing room and bedroom. And open plan kitchen /diner/lounge on the ground floor. 2 new bedrooms and bathroom on the First floor. The overall service we have received could not have been better for us. We were informed every step of the way and the fee was really reasonable and affordable. We asked for changes to be made at the very early stages of our contract with freedom homes and they were done within days of asking. We certainly would recommend them to anyone. We used Freedom homes for the plans of our two story side extension, the whole team was polite and prompt to my questions, also no complaints when we kept changing our minds on the design they would quickly produce changed plans and there recommendation for and against the changes. This is the first time I have contacted an architect to undertake work and I was slightly nervous as the project was a large refurbishment for a business unit. Philip came to the premises and was shown what was needed and duly produced the plans and drawings. Philip was charming and very professional. He put me at ease and was always contactable for issues and queries, which were many on this project. He gave honest advice and was responsive to our queries and concerns. The plans were very detailed but easy to understand and I have signed up to use their design and build service and plan to start work before summer. Cameron came to do a visit and talked through our ideas, within days we had our initial drawings done and then time was spent tweaking them until we had exactly what we wanted. I can fully recommend Phil and all of his team at Freedom Homes to anyone considering carrying out building works on their property. Phil was prompt in responding to our initial enquiry and then took time to discuss our options and explained the whole process step by step, which was particularly useful as we had no previous experience of this process. Plans were completed and submitted on schedule and all were approved by our Towns Planning Committee. We contacted a number of Architects, and found Freedom to give the best advice, service and price. The drawings were very quickly drawn up, and after a couple of revisions sent to the LA for planning permission. We even had a couple of small revisions and they were quickly dealt with. Phillip and Cameron were both great to work with and got the initial plans drawn up within a week. They got in touch with the council and found if there were going to be any problems and advised of those. Unfortunately I had a situation arise where I no longer needed the plans to be completed and Cameron was very understanding and agreed to waive half the fee. Outstanding doesn't go far enough to describe Freedom Architecture Services. The personal service they offer is second to none and the drawing received were absolutely fantastic. Cameron Spencer did a fantastic job of drawing the plans for our loft conversion, despite the requirements being complicated, as we live in a very strict conservation area. When our application was turned down, Cameron drew us another excellent set of plans and reapplied for permission. From our initial home visit with Philip through to Cameron making our extension and interior remodel come to life, we had a smooth and stress free journey. Freedom Architecture were able to accommodate our every request, provide us with much needed guidance and meet our village council's quirky requests as well as handle our application with our local council. Fantastic service!! Phil and Cameron took care of the humongous task of dealing with the Planning department, water board and even took time to reassure neighbours who were unwilling to give their consent for the works to take place.
