What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
To stop, look and immerse yourself in the situation you are about to photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get a completely clear idea from the client so that nothing is left out. This way everything is clear and problems are avoided.
EG: If it is a wedding then I ask them to give me a list of the family shots they want taken prior to the day. This way you know that certain members were not left out.
If it was an event I would ask who the key people are that need to be captured. If they want candid or posed.
If it was a branded event I would expect the client to give me a list of shots they need - eg consumers interacting with the brand, images of logos, any branded content that needs to be captured.

Image format, print or digital, delivery times etc
What do you love most about your job?
It's fun and I make people happy. I love creating images and stories. It also has an element of surprise as you can never predict what may happen and what you may capture from shoot to shoot.
